WM - Edmonton Bin Rental

After 30 years of business this is the WORST COMPANY WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! They implement a contact which is near impossible to get out of. We have now jumped through all the hoops to cancel and there dumpster is still on our property. This company is shady and has very poor customer service. From double billing and losing payments to never locking the bin after pick up. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

SHADY COMPANY, CROOKS IN THE INDUSTRY, LOCKED IN CONTRACTS WITH PENALTIES TO CANCEL EVEN IF YOU MOVE, RIDICULIUS OVERAGE FEES. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Driver's are great even when they have to call us to move a van to get the bin!

BUYER BEWARE! I would not recommend this company. Very expensive when you add in all of the surcharges etc. Tried to stop our service and it was a nightmare. They are currently trying to charge us for months we did not get service for, They made the entire cancelation process so difficult that it has drug on for 6 months. Stay away! Use a small local company if you can.

June 2020.Terrible service. I live in Sherwood Park AB in an apt bldg serviced by Waste Management (WM). We have a garbage bin near our bldg.Several days ago, a WM operator, after emptying the bin, dropped the bin on top of garbage bags. I emailed a WM account manager four times. She was not able to call the operator and tell him/her that when the bin is dropped next time to just move it a little to the left or a little ahead and I would go myself as a senior and put the stinking garbage inside the bin.I now have to contact a manager at WM and Strathcona County Municipal Enforcement in Sherwood Park. Absolutely annoying. I was just trying to help out and prevent rats and cockroaches from being attracted to the bag under the bin. A new Landlord bought our apt bldg several months ago and, to save money, fired all property managers so our building is left unattended.You would think a staff person at WM would have enough clues to radio an operator with a simple message. Apparently not.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. Auto renewing contracts that trap you with a dumper you don’t want in the end. With rates that just magically increase without warning. This is the warning to stay as far away from this corporation as you possibly can. Save yourself. I am trapped for 2.5 more years paying more than double my original rate

We love to use this company for all our waste and recycling needs. R. L. Rurka Sales & Service Inc. has used this company for many years. When an issue comes up it is handled efficiently. The customer service is great, they are flexible with their pick up schedule and we always encounter cheerful and courteous employees.

The monthly pick up was great.Dealing with the customer service/sales management team is a complete waster of time. Everyone (5 different people) gave different answers and never followed up. There are better companies that have customer service and at a better price. Don't waste your time with this company

This company sucks for customer service. Their contract wording is protective to them!! Watch the renewal. Which they state is for 3 years!! They also can’t match up a check to the bill to save their life and I had to walk them thru when they had cashed my payment but had not allocated it to my bill. I don’t wish this company on anyone.
