I took my car here to get it fixed and was over charged. The car sat in the shop not being worked on I was paying for it to just sit there while they said they had time for it. The owner was very rude when I asked about progress on my car. While picking up my car he was being very rude towards one of his employees. My car also left the shop with more problems than it got there with. My overall experience was very very bad and I do not recommend going to this shop. You are better off spending your money else where.

Very knowledgeable staff, They are good for all kinds of vehicles. And they know the Diesel engine very well. I trust them with my F-250.Thanks guys see you soon!

This place is worth more than 5 stars.Friendliness,communication,customer service,and there job everything was fantastic.My car was having some issues and none of the mechanic in Owen Sound was available to have a look.but this guy told me he will diagnose and will try to figure it out.And he did at the same time.Thanks.

took my car in for an exhaust repair I hit a curb and it came off anywho they tried to fix then they give it to me I drive out of there parking lot and it's dragging they added a peace of pipe to big causeing it to scrap off the ground! then I drove right back to them said they will fix it I was late for work and had to get someone to pick me up didn't get my car till the next day it was horrible experience and yes I have the right location since they don't like to take any fault for there mess ups Owen sound popular auto i will never go back here

Excellent service. Got my car in quickly, diagnosed, and fixed in excellent time. Did not try to over-charge me or try to take advantage of my novice knowledge about auto repair. Great price and communication. Will be coming back for sure when I need auto service! :) thanks everyone!

I contacted Popular Auto and was immediately met with compassion for my situation. I needed my brakes done ASAP and everywhere I contacted were booking out about 4 - 5 weeks. I called on Thursday of the long weekend and Sajeev booked me in for Monday. When I picked up my car, he took the time to explain the breakdown of what was done, as well as the pricing. I wouldn't think twice about coming back!

We were on a road trip from the east coast when something went wrong with the exhaust system. They got us in quickly, examined the problem, told us what it would cost and when it would be done. We returned a couple of hours later to a quiet-running car. It was a relief to find a well-run, friendly shop when we really needed it.

DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT HERE.Booked this in for a Safety Inspection and winter tire change. They said that if there were issues with the inspection, they could not be repaired until after the weekend but that they would call by 1100 to let us know what it needed.No phone call, tried to call, by 3:30pm we went over to see what was up.They said that they were too busy and were unable to even bring the car in to look at it, despite us finding it in a different location in the parking lot. Wanted to keep it all weekend and do it on Monday.I understand being busy but then 1 - don't book it in, 2 - call if unable to fit it in.We are on a time crunch to get it registered in Ontario and now having to wait a long time to book it elsewhere.

Absolutely love coming here to get my van done. He is very honest and tells me what the problem is and how much it’s going to cost after tax:) so there are no surprises amounts
