Avis Car Rental

Great service. Our car went kaput and my wife needed to catch a flight early the next morning. It was after hours, but we reached the owner and he went back to his store when a car came in. Worked a couple of extra hours to help us! In a pinch, use them. They will take your problem seriously and do their best to help.

Will 100% rent a vehicle again with Avis! The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable.It was my first time renting a vehicle in Kingston and I'm glad I was able to rent from Avis. They were able to drive me back to my dorm after my rent was done.Smooth experience all in all— from the time I picked up the vehicle to the day I handed the keys back.10/10 from me.

Roy the owner went above and beyond to help my parents and daughter make it to Toronto for their flight on Dec 26th. At 9pm on Christmas Day their train for the 26th was cancelled and they needed transportation to Toronto. Most car rental places are closed on Boxing Day but we called Avis just to hear their message about hours and the owner picked up!! He secured a rental for us over the phone and met my family there at 8:30 this morning to get them on their way!! Phenomenal customer service! Cant recommend them enough!

I never thought I'd ever give a car rental company 5 stars, but Roy and team at Avis truly deserve the 5 stars. I had issues with a winter tire that took over a week to be ordered and replaced over the family day long weekend. I called AVIS late on the Friday before the long weekend, however, they did not have any cars at the time, but I received a lot of advice from Roy on possible alternatives. An hour later Roy called telling me that a car had been returned. This completely saved our long weekend and allowed us to stay in the area for another week until my tire was replaced. Thank you Roy for all the help and for genuinely caring for your clients.

Reservations online with AVIS is super easy and convenient, they also give very competitive and discounted prices. Roy is super friendly, professional and goes above and beyond to assist clients and meet their expectations/needs. I have rented car several occasions there, last time I did was really awesome experience as Roy picked newest and best vehicle on the lot for me, he even picked me up from my residence and best still, he stayed up late past working hours to help me out with my reservation. I got very good discounts each time and Roy was always making sure my and other clients' needs were met, he is always addressing clients with courtesy and friendliness. Thanks Roy, keep up the excellent work.

Cannot recommend Avis enough for the service we received after travelling from England and turning up to enterprise 29/05/23 for them to tell us that they in fact did not have the car we booked months in advance available and that they had no desire to help us resolve the problem. I called Avis Kingston extremely distressed to be completed calmed by the man on the other side of the phone, who provided exquisite service and said he could get a car for us right away. When arriving at Avis, the man whose name unfortunately I did not get, made us feel calm, comfortable and reassured. He ensured we had a wonderful vehicle and upgraded us to an SUV. I was laughing within minutes and he really turned out day around and saved our trip we had been planning for months. Super easy to drop off in a different location as we were doing a road trip and nothing was a trouble for this guy. So many thank yous!!!!

HUGE thank you to the owner for answering my brother-in-law, Trevor’s call yesterday (Christmas day!) My parents VIA train reservation for today (Boxing day) was cancelled at 8pm and they needed a way to get to Toronto Pearson Airport for their flight today. The Avis owner agreed to meet my parents at 8:30am this morning to rent them a SUV. Thank you so much for going above & beyond to help us out, we were not sure how they would get there safely without one of us having to drive them.

waited over 40 mins for a call back on available vehicles and never got it, when I called back no solution had been thought of and I had to wait additional time on the phone just for them to see if they had a vehicle. In the end they told me they didn't have anything after almost an hour of waiting:) this was an emergency and we definitely could have called a lot of other places in that time, not considerate or helpful AT ALL
