My sister and I had shellac manicures. They were ok, nothing special. My sister had to ask her nail tech to be gentle more than once, and she had polish on her skin around her nails afterwards. The tech doing my nails was nice, however didn’t file my nails evenly. Service was very quick, salon was busy and bright, not wildly clean but clean enough. Cheap price.

I will never, ever, go here again.I used to absolutely love this place and it was my go to nail place, and would tell everyone to come here. However, I went yesterday to get a fill, and the gentlemen who was doing my nails confirmed with me twice I wanted round nails, and then proceeded to cut them shorter than wanted & made them almond. Not a big deal, it happens. It's not what I wanted, but whatever. But then, he also proceeded to cut deeply into my cuticle on many fingers, but so much so on my thumb that part of it is now gone, it's consistently throbbing, and bleeding. He also grinded down my natural nails underneath the acrylic so much that all of my nails are aching & hurting even as I do basic tasks, like typing (which my job depends on). Over 24 hours later and I'm still in pain. I voiced the shape concern and kept telling him to stop shaping into the sides of my nails because of the pain, pointing out my thumb, and he did seem apologetic, but that was it. When I went to pay, they went to charge me full price, and I asked if I could get some money off based on the nails not being what I wanted, but particularly because I can't get them fixed now with injuries on the cuticles & the lack of natural nail underneath. They gave me $5 off and that was it. The owner was sitting there scowling at me as I showed my thumb.I would have tipped generously based on their customer service of trying to right a wrong & just feeling like they cared at all. Instead, I'm left with nails that I did not want, that hurt & cause me to not be able to do essentially anything with my hands, and a thumb that is bleeding nonstop.Don't go here.

The staff at Libra Nail Bar are fantastic! They always do an amazing job of my nails, especially with the floral designs the add to the toes ☺️ Highly recommend them!

I recently had an experience at Libra Nail Salon that I just have to share with you all because it was fantastic! Let me start by saying that Michael, my nail technician, deserves a medal for his patience and understanding.You see, I have this little thing called hyperhidrosis, which means my hands can get embarrassingly sweaty. Yeah, it's not the most glamorous condition to have, especially when you're getting your nails done. So, I came prepared with my very own hand fan, like I was about to perform some grandiose magic tricks.But here's where Michael truly shines. He didn't make a fuss about it at all! He was totally cool and understanding about my hand-fanning situation. I mean, who would have thought that I'd bring my own personal wind machine to a nail salon? Michael took it all in stride and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Kudos to him for his patience and for not cracking any jokes about me auditioning for a hand model gig!Now, onto the nails. I had my heart set on a fabulous solar nail set, and Michael didn't disappoint. He paid close attention to the Pinterest photo I showed him and worked his magic. The end result was absolutely stunning, exactly like the picture I had dreamily pinned. It's like he was my nail fairy godparent, granting my nail wishes with precision and care.All in all, Libra Nail Salon has won me over. I would happily go back to this place, sweaty palms and all! So, if you're looking for a salon where the technicians are understanding, attentive, and won't judge you for bringing your own personal wind machine, this is the spot for you.

Visiting Vancouver and walked in for a mani/pedi. They immediately seated me and got to work. Very pleasant employees. I went in with a nail design but the gentleman suggested I try something different and I am extremely pleased with the results. Reasonable prices as well. Will definitely come back next time I visit Vancouver.

I’ve been coming here for months and there’s no other nail salon I’d go to. The people here are so nice and they clearly work very hard. The salon is small but it has a good layout and feels clean when you come in.They’ve fixed so many broken nails and designs for me which were all 100% my fault and they always make time if I come in for a fix without an appointment - they’re getting hella popular tho, it’s best to make an appointment before you go.Recently I broke a nail like right down to the skin and it hurt so much but they took their time removing what was left and replacing it so I didn’t have to come another day and I really appreciate that. 10/10.The pictures are all nails they’ve done for me over the past few months.

Excellent job performed by professional staffs with an affordable price. The manager is super friendly & kind, she welcomed me with hot tea whenever I visited.The last time I came here was a month ago, I asked for shellac manicure. The result went beyond my expectation. After 1 month, other than nails getting longer (as they should), there is no change in the quality of my nails even though real nails are always very easily to be broken. I booked an appointment tomorrow to get them re-done by my most favorite nail tech in this nail salon, named Jenny! My friend and I went for our very first Manicure there. The staff was really friendly and they spent a good amount of time and did a really good job. We did shellac and they were so good that I had them for over a month and they wouldn't come off easily! I did the same thing somewhere else it was more expensive and it didn't stay more than 2.5 weeks! So I recommend this place! Just make sure that you decide about the color beforehand and clearly mention what kind of trim and color you want. They work fast so you might not have enough time to decide and they might miss what you have said:)

Super talented though Vietnamese and Japanese nails are the best, given. The salon is by English bay and it’s clean with a bright atmosphere. The owners and workers are great and their service is genuine. Hardworking ladies, support our local women in Vancouver. My go to salon now for quick service
