I dropped off my taxes a week ago...very simple return......went back last night and they hadn't even been started.....they 'forgot' to call me back as I had called earlier, So I went and picked up my untouched taxes and went to Liberty, where they did them on the spot.

Totally unprofessional. We left after waiting for our appointment for too long. They took a client w no appointment for our time slot. Byeeeee

Do not by all cost go here. If you do, please steer clear from Maya! (the sri lankan tax prepper) He will completely obliterate your tax refund. You wont get anything. Plus on top of that, fees worth over $100s.Goodluck to those in tax refund season!

Staff was polite and nice to talk. They also shared information but I believe the staff is not having proper knowledge about their work. This is not good and this also leads to misleading information.

I had an appointment at 10:00 am and was at the 500 fairway rd Kitchener location on time. When I got there, there was no one at the front desk. Then I come to find out the person I was supposed to meet with was still on a bus. I waited 1/2 hour and she still wasn't there. I guess they didn't want my business. I dont recommend that office as it is very unprofessional.

When into to make an appointment waited 30 mins girlfriend called while I was waiting inside to make an appointment they let ring until voicemail. So she called H&r block at the mall and got a appointment right away. Don’t go here.

Sure, if you prefer to lose your money going in than to thinking gaining more as you head out... This is the place for youMaya will rob you of every penny. Seek elsewhere. Be warned.

My wife and I had our taxes done by a very nice lady. She prepared our taxes before we arrived and all we needed to do was confirm all the information and signed off on the return. The only problem we had was my wife owed money for a repayment to SERB, that we had already set up a repayment plan, to pay it back a little at a time . The lady said because we had made arrangements with the CRA that she didn't include it in our return. She gave us a check for our whole return. Now 4 months later we are getting a letter from H&R block saying we need to pay them over 1300 dollars because the lady made a mistake and gave us our return without paying back what we owed to the CRA. Because of this mistake by the H&R employee, here we are 2 months before Christmas and trying to find a way to afford Christmas for our family and the high cost of living with the price of gas, food and utilities going through the roof. Having to pay back 1300 dollars at the end of a very costly year, doesn't seem appropriate. If H&R Block had better fail safes in place, to check these returns for mistakes, our family wouldn't be in this situation. Again the service was good, but the quality of service needs to be evaluated. I always thought that because the professional tax preparer at H&R block prepared our taxes, that if the government had any issue with what was filed, H&R block was responsible, and would take care of it. I guess that is not true and false information. Thank you for your time.

Website says open Tuesday and Thursday 9-5, google says the same. Went there Thursday 2pm and doors locked no answer on the phone, nothing, please update your opening times if they've changed
