He is super responsive and professional, everything was done effectively and clean. I called him the day before and he showed up the next day, finished everything I was asked for and even do some extra work. Highly recommend.

We called SOS Dryer and had Derrick come out to remove a nest and to inspect our dryer vent.We had sparrows nesting this summer in a broken vent cover coming from our half bath vent. It was a second story half bath so was higher and on top of that, it was placed right on top of a dormer from the main floor and of course, right in the middle. Derrick not only had the extra height to deal with but had the complication of having to get on to the arch to do the work. Which he did, no problem.He got rid of the nest completely, from both outside and in the half bath itself. Plus, he sprayed antibacterial spray once it was perfectly cleaned out.After nest removal and cleaning, he then replaced the vent cover with a superior item which he had brought with him. He has a fully stocked van which makes any extra trips to store unnecessary. Once he finished, he checked all other outside vents and confirmed they were all ok. No sales pitches or pressure to do work that was not needed which we really appreciated.We knew our dryer vent probably needed cleaning but were so impressed with the time and commitment Derrick took to do a thorough job. We have had the dryer vent done with another company in the past and they never took the time that Derrick did nor did they actually go on the roof and check and remove a large amount of build up from there. He also took the time to help us reinstall the dryer to its proper place after replacing the dryer hose.Derrick was on time and very professional and kind and his estimate was bang on.We would definitely recommend Derrick and SOS Dryer from Calgary anytime.

My clothes were taking forever to dry and the dryer was getting really hot. I called Derrick at SOS and he was a true professional and took the time to explain everything. Derrick followed up with me a week after he services the vents to make sure everything was still running smoothly. It was hard to find a company that knows what they are doing when it comes to dryer vents - most HVAC cleaning companies have no idea ! SOS is reasonably priced and thorough.

Derrick was able to come the day after I called and was so thorough with our very blocked dryer vent. Because we have a second storey laundry room that vents to the roof, many companies were unwilling or unable to help (citing that the didn’t have the right equipment or the right insurance or the right training). We received before and after pictures of the vents and they are sparkling clean. I would highly recommend SOS dryer and will be using them again.

I called to have a bird's nest removed from a bathroom vent, a screen installed and the vent cover repaired. I also had my dryer vent cleaned out. The response to my initial inquiry was fast and they came within a day to complete the work. I was impressed and thankful. They told me what they would do, gave me an accurate estimate and completed the work quickly. Derrick came out promptly to investigate our concern with our heating ducts and put our minds at ease. While at our place we agreed for him to clean out our dryer vent (which had never been done) . His service included cleaning the dryer as well and he installed a new outside vent cover and bird shield, all in freezing cold temps. Great job, very professional and friendly service.

Derrick with SOS Dryer AB came out to deal with a birds nest in the vent from the hoodfan over the stove. He arrived promptly and was very courteous and professional. The work was done thoroughly and ensuring no debris entered the apartment. I recommend this company and would call them again if needed.

Derrick came on relatively short notice. He cleaned out my dryer vent and reattached the ducts and inspected everything. His service was efficient and professional, and his prices were reasonable. We submitted an email inquiry on the weekend and Derrick phoned me within the hour. The service was booked with the following week. He phoned before the appointment and arrived on time. He was wearing a mask (likely for Covid-19 reasons) and communicated regularly while completing the vent cleaning and then installing the cage outside the vent. We've been trying to evict these birds for years but they keep coming back. Apparently, that's what birds do! I wish we had called Derrick years ago. I would highly recommend Derrick and this company.

Derrick was courteous, on time, and he replaced an external dryer vent that was causing issues. He listened to my concerns and questions and provided a great service. He went the extra step for preventative maintenance on an external bathroom fan as well during his time here which I appreciate.He cleaned up and left the working area better than he found it as well.I definitely recommend them for anyone looking for similar services!
