I went to DeWalt to exchange a hammer, and they said the warranty was voided because a metal hammer had surface rust. I bought that hammer for construction, not to hang up picture frames. What a joke.

The people that work here are some of the most useless employees I’ve ever come across. They have ZERO knowledge of their own products. A tool company where the employees freely admit they don’t know about the tools and accessories they service and sell. How about some training and some prerequisite knowledge of basic power tools. I swear if you have a pulse you’ll get employed here. No questions asked.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with the Dewalt Service Center at Milcreek, Mississauga, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, till I got back the repaired unit, it was a pleasure all the way. To start with, Ivan who checked me in, greeted me with utmost professionalism and reassurance, setting the stage for what was to come.I was initially informed that the repairs on my table saw could take around 2 to 3 weeks, which seemed reasonable. However, I decided to drop in after just a week to inquire about the progress. To my surprise, the repairs were already completed a few hours earlier.It was at this point that I had the pleasure of meeting Marco, who provided me with remarkable assistance and efficiency. He went above and beyond to ensure I was well-informed and satisfied with the repair process. As he presented my repaired unit, I was introduced to Dave, the skilled technician responsible for the repair. Dave took the time to explain the problem thoroughly and described the steps taken to resolve it. He even demonstrated how I could address the issue myself should it occur again. His knowledge and positive attitude were truly impressive.One aspect that truly amazed me was the billing process. Initially, I was informed that the charges could potentially be as much as $300. However, to my surprise and delight, I was billed only $11. This was because no parts were consumed, and only a little time was required to fix the issue. The honesty and transparency displayed by the Dewalt Service Center at Milcreek, Mississauga, were truly remarkable.The level of customer service I experienced at Dewalt Service Center at Milcreek, Mississauga was truly outstanding. The team's expertise, efficiency, and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. It's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction and take pride in their work.I highly recommend the Dewalt Service Center at Milcreek, Mississauga to anyone in need of top-notch service for their tools. They exceeded my expectations, and my overall experience was incredibly satisfying. The employees here are nice but everything else is not. This is one of the only full depots near Toronto that does Black and Decker and Dewalt. It is not even close to convenient to get to. From the center of the city on the 401 you are looking at around one hour drive. Plenty of parking mostly because it’s so remote but at least after your trek you have a place to park. Terrible location.I purchased a Dewalt planer and it is designed with an oval dust port that forces you to buy an adapter to hook up a vacuum. It’s not included with the planer.In order to get it you need to call the depot with the part number to see if it’s in stock. Only 8 bucks so price reasonable but there is No ordering system online or by phone . You call. If they answer you see if they have it and if so you drive there to pickup. They did set it aside for me so that was a plus.I used to go to the Dewalt outlet eons ago when it was near Sheppard and Allen rd and they had refurbed stuff at discountsThis place has refurbs but just slightly cheaper than retail or Amazon plus these refurbs have a 6 month warranty only. Since I made the journey I thought I’d check it out. Zero deals here.I gave the rep a part number for some band saw blades. Hurray in stock BUT even though the warehouse was right there it would take several days to get the bladesTo the counter. Some sort of ancient computer system. I was told.So weird counter sales for sure. No return deals and located at the edge of civilization make this a useless depot to me.In comparison the Milwaukee service depot is way easier to get to and instant service.The people there do their best but clearly this place is low to no priority for Dewalt.Good luck if you need parts or service. If you’re a professional you’ll find this place a problem. For retirees this place is a day trip to noodle around in but if you’re on the clock then you’re out of luck. Service and parts are just a theory here.For a large city this kind of service is unacceptable. Just poor management!

I have been trying to contact them several times to get my tool back after repair but they never pick up. After some ringing, it says User busy". I realized that such a horrible service is been in existence in today's world."

I paid $800 for a tool that broke within 1 month of use. I left it at authorized and they took 2 months to answer me about it. Now they lost my tool and they are not answering my emails, they don't want to give me my money back, they don't have proof that it was delivered and to whom it was delivered. Garbage place do not recommend to anyone. horrible customer service. Dewalt should be ashamed of themselves for having this place as an authorized repair facility for their products.We have already passed the 30 emails exchanged between this place (which claims to have made the delivery without proof) The store that sold it to me, dewalt, my building that requests some proof of delivery because nothing was received.

Excellent service on older electric lawnmower using their fixed price option. My Black & Decker machine is a native brand to this group, but they service sll makes of power tools. Hard to find these services for devices bought at big box stores. Highly recommend.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I brought in a broken Proto Phillips #2 screw driver in October. It is now almost April and when I'm able to get a hold of someone, they say it's on back order and also say it's coming from the states!" Like that's a huge deal. I call and usually they don't answer and when they do

DeWalt used to have one of the best warranty services. However, in the last 6 years, they have really gone downhill. In addition, I had a very rude lady deal with me at the counter of this service center. She also refused to provide her name or call a supervisor to help. Very disappointed to see a brand like DeWalt be destroyed slowly.
