OK Tire

This will be a long review, sorry. I have been going to OK tire for the last 13 years. And many of the times they were great to deal with. However I have had the same run in with the Rick (garage manager) the last 2 time I have had a problem. The 1st was when I had a water pump go in my car. It cost 1100 to fix 2 weeks later I went back and was told that I needed another water pump and that I must have done something to it. ... So after about 30 min they said the part was covered under warranty. (Which I knew)To my most recent problem and the final one. I had a problem with my axel they ordered the axel and had it shipped down they said it would be an hour and a half. They took the car in and 3 hours later the called us and let us know that they cut the old axel off the car and the one they ordered was not for my car. I went with out a car for 4 days when I called the OKtire they put Rick on the phone. Who said well these things happen what do you want me to do about." Where I replied I wanted it fixed. And I said I cant believe you talk to your customers like that. I asked to speak with the manager because he has 0 customer service he told me he was the manager and refused to put anyone else on the phone.I then placed a phone call to OK tires corp office where my concerns were moved to a local district rep.After picking up the car I noticed that they did give us a credit of 180. Fast, friendly and affordable service!

I got 2 new tires on my german vansized motorhome. They had the needed spezial dimension tyres in stock for a realy good price. We also watched for other tire deales in town but OK was the best option. All people there treated us very friendly and helpful. Justin did the job very well. After 30 minutes we was already ready to go for catch the ferry to Newfoundland next morning. Thank you guys!

I impressed with the reception and the fellow that did a repair on my tire even though they were closing. He could have just as easily sent me away.as it was a long weekend starting the next day. As I was traveling from out of the province it would have created a hardship for me. So grateful for the person at reception and the employee for putting in the extra time.

Made a call about the tenth looking for a oil change while traveling through Nova Scotia when we were near Sydney. These people fit us in, told us about 4pm and they close at 5. Did a oil change rotated the tires and inspection within the hour. Excellent service, we appreciated the consideration of not having a pre planned appointment. Price was very good. Thank you for your help. All other places wanted a week before we could get it done. Some no answer, others didn't return call. Thanks again OK Tire owners and staff.

These guys are just awesome. Arrived there with a leak in our tire and on the clock to reach the ferry to Newfoundland. They did their best to fix our tire in less than an hour so that we still could get our boat (and we did!). Mind you, they were the only shop in North Sydney we visited that were willing to help. Just awesome customer service. Really, really appreciated it and would recommend to everyone!

Ok tire, told me my car needed a part to pass safety, and 2 other mechanics checked and said it was good. No new part needed. Passed safety with another shop.
