Saint Pius X Catholic Parish

A wonderful Catholic Church in the heart of Bloor West Village. Fr. Brian is a most welcoming and caring priest. He has a warm sense of humour that shines through in his homilies. The Sunday Mass is great. Lots of places nearby to go for coffee after Mass.

I rode to this parish on my Harley. When I entered I was impressed with the painting on the ceiling. I did find the echo accustics made it hard to hear the readings yet was able to get the jist of the message. What did bother me the most was my attempts to acknowledge the Priest on three occasions. A slight head nod and smile. All three were ignored by the Priest as he walked around greeting and conversing with the regular congregation. Now I was wearing a leather jacket and I do look like a biker. I am a biker in the truest, old school way. Maybe this was the problem. Regardless, I am a Roman Catholic convert and and the only one in my club that attends Mass and is religious for a lack of better terminology. Today I felt the same way I feel when secular society judges me prior to knowing me. I will pray for this Priest but it will be a while before I visit this Parish.

Everyday Mass at 8.30am. Nice air conditioning Church.

The priest and the staff are very inviting, really nice community!!!

I come to st pius i see a young guy 33 years old nailed to pieces of wood looking down. He is our Saviour and God. To exult Him.

It is the closet Catholic church to my home.
