Wakefield Plumbing and Heating

We converted our old oil and wood furnace to propane (including new AC!) and Wakefield did the job. The work was terrific, clean and efficient. The communication was really good too. We highly recommend using Wakefield for your heating and plumbing needs. I'll also add that on an earlier job, Darren got our well pump replaced and saved us from having to haul water. Great company!

I highly recommend Wakefield Plumbing. We had Darren upgrade our cottage bathroom which included squeezing in a shower into a confined space. He tackled the job with no problem. He upgraded our water pumping system as well and went above and beyond helping me finish some other minor jobs I had on the go. He was very prompt, reliable, efficient and had all the work finished quickly.He was very knowledgeable and explained all the work done in detail.And now that we have him opening and closing our cottage as well, my family can be stress free each summer in terms of plumbing.Again I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Wakefield Plumbing.Thanks for all the work!

As a General Contractor, I deal with many trades on a daily basis. Wakefield Plumbing would rank as one the worst trades I've had to deal with for lack of interest returning phone calls on 2 separate occasions. Two small plumbing jobs to a local cottage, new kitchen sink / dish washer connections and finishing was the first in early June and the second to rough in a main floor laundry in Aug. Both jobs I needed to complete myself due to lack of interest even returning my two separate inquiries looking for availability / timing. Never got the chance to see the workmanship so I can only comment on the administrative experience.

Extremely prompt response to my phone call. He came and did the work a week later. Very professional and knowledgable. Work done was installation of Propane fireplace, kitchen sink and dishwasher install and the installation of a UV system at my cottage. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I called Wakefield Plumbing out of the blue when our water stopped working. I was able to reach Darren on his cell phone and he made a special trip to come right away. He found a solution to restore the water temporarily and came back first thing the next morning to do a permanent fix. Work was quickly, neatly, effectively and courteously. Wakefield Plumbing will be my go-to plumber from now on!

Darren Wakefield does the stuff that's essential: he does what he said he was going to do, he does it on time, and he does it on budget. In addition, he's really knowledgeable on all plumbing and heating issues. I have yet to stump him, but I will keep trying! I can always rely on Darren! No hesitation to recommend him.
