They deserve a zero star! I applied for my son as an international student to attend the high school in Canada. He was offered a place at a public school in Ottawa. Then, they asked us to pay the school fee in full before getting the visa. We applied for visa but the Canadian embassy in Turkey rejected our visa request. So we asked the school to return our money back as they had promised upon visa rejection. They have clearly mentioned on their website that the school fee will be fully returned if you can't get a visa. But they didn't do so! They took 500 USD of our money and returned the rest! They claimed it's because of dollar rate exchange! Their financial institution include a bunch of conman.

I have a psychologist who works for the school board and we pay In private. The last couple of times I need him, never answer my phone call or email or even listen. His response is completely different and that's the solution which I can't agree and not comfortable or can't... The name Is Dr Richard Bolduc... I've tried to explain multiple times but I feel left out and not listen the last couple of sessions. Thanks for his unhelpful hospital emergency department comment.

This school board is bad. The teachers clearly do not know the most efficient way of teaching. The people are mean. The students are extremelydisrespectful. constantly getting bullied.

was a student, and now a parent of a child in the board. teachers are awesome and do their best with the resources they are given. Some policy decisions haven't made sense but overall they are always trying to do whats best for everyone and be inclusive.Don't listen to most of the 1 star reviews. they are from anti science/anti vax Covid deniers. and bigots upset that people from the LGBTQ+ exist.

I wish I could give -5 stars. Terrible curriculum focused on race and gender. Push terrible and divisive ideologies to children. Don't allow parents to make decision in the best interest of their children. Now they are mandating the Covid vaccines. You make me sick.

Live near Merivale HS and kids go out for runs on path behind school. They have no respect for other people on path and make fun of people with disabilities. No teacher around and two students smoking pot on the bench. Left a message for the board office and never acknowledge me with a response. Goes to show how much they care.

i called to inquire about my homeschool letter and when would be the soonest date id get an email back. whomever i spoke with on the phone was quite rude with me and didn’t let me finish my sentences, i didn’t even get an answer to my question. when she thought she hung up the phone, i heard her talking negatively about me to her co-worker and telling her coworker things i never said.this upset me very much, if you want to complain about me, at least hang up the phone first.

ocdsb is not as gud as ocsb. it does not have any religious ties to pope francis. therefore, it is boo hooo hoooo
