Lavender Bridal Boutique

shopping at Lavender was a great experience. I bought my dress Sept 2019 and was just married. Stephanie was a big help, with each dress she zeroed in on what I liked and didn't like then pulled a wild card which was absolutely perfect. It was my second time trying on dresses, once at a different shop then at Lavender, it was a stress free experience. She recommended some tailors for alterations and the tailor did a great job too! I'll even get to wear the dress again next year when we have the big blow out reception!

I was really looking forward to trying on wedding dresses at Lavender Boutique, but unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience a few days ago. This was my first wedding dress appointment, and I was so excited and open to trying on different styles. I was with the stylist Stephanie, and she had a negative attitude from the beginning. Things went downhill when she got visibly frustrated and made condescending comments to me in the change room after I’ve tried on about 10 dresses. She said that I need to have an opinion, how I need to make concrete decisions, that I can’t think that every dress is pretty, and that I can’t only rely on the opinions of the people I was with. I was shocked and explained to her that I was trying to be clear about what I liked and disliked about the dresses, and that I’m still figuring out what I like since this was my first time trying on wedding dresses. At the end I narrowed it down to 4 dresses, and she kept repeating how she’s so proud of me and didn’t think I was going to be able to narrow it down. I tried to brush it off and I didn’t mention how I was feeling to my wedding party until after we left, but I was really thrown off and uncomfortable by the interactions from the stylist. It turns out that my wedding party also felt that Stephanie was unapproachable and seemed annoyed when they had a question for her. The boutique has lovely dresses, but the customer service experience needs to be a priority. I went to a few other appointments elsewhere since then, and it reaffirmed what a negative experience I had here. My experience was completely overshadowed by the poor customer service.

I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress at Lavender. She was so patient with me (and my indecision and several appointments!) I love my dress, it felt so modern and unique. Thanks so much!

I made an appointment in June 2022 to try on wedding dresses for the first time and arrived without a dress style in mind. I was amazed at Stephanie's ability to help me narrow down styles, pull new options and eventually land on THE ONE.I had the salon all to myself with my mom. It was the most private, special shopping experience and completely surpassed my expectations.Just to ensure I wasn't making too quick of a buying decision, I went to 2 other bridal salons in the city and the shopping experience didn't even compare. I returned to Lavender and made my dress purchase.I recommend Lavender to anyone who is newly engaged!

Beautiful atmosphere and AMAZING selection of dresses, so amazing I fell in love with not one but two. I had gone to many other dress shops and tried on a ton of dresses and didn’t like any until I came here.Very accommodating and knowledgeable staff as well!

I used Lavender to purchase my dress. They had a lovely selection of gowns, the attendant really knew her dresses well and what would look great.The end result was a stunning gown that I loved! It felt to nice to have so many compliments!
