MEDCENTRE HEALTH - Markham McNicoll Urgent Care Centre (MMUCC)

Bad experience with this walk in clinic, i was feeling so sick on a Sunday I checked them on Google and it was saying open till 7 pm, to make sure I’m not going to drive from north york till Markham I tried to call them but no one was answering, given my health situation I decided to drive and arrived at 6pm, the office manager told me we’re closed and physician has left and she didn’t even say sorry. Do doctors today really care about people’s health ?

Dr. Annie Hadi at the urgent care clinic was honestly very rude and not caring at all. She had very bad bed side manners which I have experienced not once but on multiple occasions. I left very upset after seeing this doctor. She wouldn’t listen to my issues and when I tried to speak she didn’t even acknowledge my issues and said that my issue wasn’t even urgent and that I can only talk about my urgent problems. I would not recommend this walk in clinic.

They canceled my appointment because the doctor needed to leave for emergeny. It was Dr Annie Hadi and i felt they ignored to care about my symptoms. Please dont go here, if you are in need to see a doctor because theres a chance they may cancel your apointment last minute. The receptionist called me to update the appointment to the next day without asking how I was feeling nor cared.

I visited Dr. Mirza today and that was the worst experience. I felt very uncomfortable speaking to her, I came in for a follow up as per Dr. Bonnah’s instructions and the level of service was nothing compared to Dr. Bonnah. I was trying to explain my concern or why I’m there for a follow up and she was giving me one word replies and kept rushing my concern. I left very un welcomed and still concerned about my issue. Now I have to revisit as I am not satisfied with the outcome with Dr. Mirza.While, I visited Dr. Bonnah last week and he is an excellent doctor. He took time to hear me out and acknowledge my concern. He was very informative and I left the clinic with a great outcome as per his medical advise. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Bonnah.

I waited for 4hours plus, just to find out only 1 doctor attending to patients in both room 1&2. Seeing the doctor you can clearly tell he's tired and overwhelmed, he spent only 6mins with me and I was made to pay 100$ despite having insurance. The receptionist said I just have to pay and maybe reclaim it. In all, it was a really bad experience. The bathroom was DIRTY and SMELLING REALLY BAD and tap refused to go off

Was checked by Docotor Mirza,Wonder how this doctor does medical practice , she was singing since she leaves the room , I had a severe pain on my shoulder and arm and never bothered to perform a physical check .I wanted to complain to CPSO but I visit there often and bcz of doctor Bonnah and doctor hale I didn’t do it after speaking to themCEO of this clinic should think twice keeping these king of individuals..

Granted it is a holiday and one can anticipate wait time. The ipad registration does not get updated in a timely manner. But 4 hours wait time!! The receptionist was not nice, there was a clear lack of order and system. Patients waiting were over lapped. People waiting a lot less time were let in before people waiting for 2 hours. All walk ins. The doctor did not apologise for the 4 hour hold and when addressed she stated that she has no control. Her tone was impolite. The clinic on top of that is run down, dusty and they only had 4 chairs. The doctors clothing was dirty and a bad representation of the clinic. Many people were standing for long periods. Many people walking in were complaining of the order. Absolutely bad experience. Would suggest if u are going to wait for 2 hours might as well wait where the staff is polite and at least the clinic is clean.

Dr Bonnah is someone whom me and my family always trust to help us despite not being our family doctor. He figures out the problem almost instantly and provides the correct treatment.BTW for the people complaining for waiting half an hour or an hour, that's actually FAST these days. Take the complaints to your local MPP.

0 stars if I could. If you are dying you still won't see a Doctor. They have time to do DR. JASLEEN's photoshoot and hire a bunch of new Doc's but can't run a clinic smoothly and efficiently. The interior is in bad condition and needs to be renovated, washrooms smell so bad, receptionists don't know their job duties, patients must be seated to wait up to 5 hours until they get to see a Doctor. And when they finally do see a Doctor they get someone like Dr. MIRZA or Dr. Meskale that know nothing about the basics of being a Doctor and a decent human being. Shame on you two and shame on the committee running this urgent care. Change your name to Die care because you literally let patients with even chest pains wait 2-5 hours. DISGUSTING. WE ARE NOT IN INDIA OR BANGLADESH. DO BETTER.
