Safety of children are not the greatest priority.buses are only cancelled when there is zero visibility. I've seen buses go out when they should have parked. Unfortunately that's the way business goes now money ahead of safety. Also parents have the option to keep kids home if they feel it's unsafe

School last week on Friday when there was 0% visibility yet a rainy day like today where the roads are “NOT” slippery at all, they do not have buses running??????? Dumbest people ever.

Staff is incredibly useless, Rude, Lazy, and incompetent, not that that should surprise anyone being as these people work for the Simcoe county district school board a masterclass in government mediocrity.

The Building conditions were excellent. I have rarely seen a place so clean and so well maintained.

This board really needs to start caring about children’s safety on the school buses. We are definitely not your priority.

I went to congratulate my grandmothers 25'th year of work inside the SCDSB. However, the chairman was rude, and I already have bad memories with them. I feel that they should have this mark for how caring they are.

My kids are in this school board and I'm strongly considering pulling them and homeschooling. The level of actual education they are receiving is dismal. My grade 6 child's teacher gives them free for all Fridays in which they are not required to work but instead can bring devices to play on...every Friday. They do yoga everyday? And have been watching Jeopardy and you tube videos which I would assume is teaching at this point. My grade 3 child currently has a decent teacher who is actually teaching but is on the cusp of retirement. This month they removed our Canadian flag completely to fly the Pride flag (which is always there just under the Canadian flag anyway) to showcase just how virtuous they are. My kids were not allowed to wear costumes on Halloween, mothers day/fathers day, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving all go unrecognized. There are never any school productions or assemblies to which parents can attend. Honestly a sad state of affairs.

Just wondering if it can be incorporated in all schools/school transportation training for students, about the danger of snow plows. The weight of the snow is NOT for students to run towards to be showered with for fun, the weight of the snow can kill, and the blade of the plow as well. It came to my attention when a snow plow driver posted a warning, that so many children have no idea of the dangers while waiting for the bus to arrive. Wondering if it can be incorporated and become part of the safety of school bus training for drivers/schools/parents/children. Thank you for allowing me to post.
