1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Southeast Michigan

My journey with 1-800 Water Damage started a month ago when we unexpectedly experienced a flood in our basement. Laurence and his team were quick to respond and get on the scene to mitigate as much of the water damage to the house and our belongings. Although we were not sure if insurance would cover our claim at the time, Laurence was able to walk us through the process of getting an Insurance agent on the scene ASAP. When the insurance agent came to do his inspection, Laurence insisted that he would be there at 8 o’clock in the morning to meet with us and the agent to raise our chances of getting our claim covered. This showed us that Laurence was truly willing to go above and beyond in his service to help us get through this challenging time. When his team finally began work we discovered mold caused by the water damage and Laurence was quick to introduce us to Keith who is also a team member of 1-800 Water Damage. Keith and his team were prompt in reaching out to us and finding a financial solution that benefitted all of us. They completed the mold remediation quickly and with great precision, making the process easy and with no obstacles. Upon Keith’s completion of the job, Laurence was able to finish up the flood cuts and the remaining work in our basement within a matter of days. Although the journey was long due to unforeseen obstacles, such as the mold, I am glad that 1-800 Water Damage was the number I reached out to when I was in a challenging situation. I could not have asked for a better team to resolve the flood damage in my basement. I would also like to personally thank Laurence for being my main contact, who provided us with EXCELLENT service and walked us through every obstacle that we had encountered along the way. Darren Kilroy was extremely helpful when my moms house had a pipe break that flooded the main floor and basement. Very responsive and easy to work with! Great guidance in a time of stress! Darren and his crew were extremely nice and professional!

Laurence, Alex, Jason and Michael were so helpful during a time of crisis! We had just listed out home for sale and found out not only did we have a leak under the sink but we needed to have the floors removed to fix the damage. It was a super stressful time for us. They came out to assess the damage after a roof leak. Once it was determined what the issue was, they came back that same day to begin the water removal. The two technicians, Alex and Dom were extremely professional. They explained what needed to be done, how long it would take, and what the next steps would be. They were extremely efficient and cleaned up after completing the work. I highly recommend calling this company if ever in need.

Highly recommend this company. We had water flooding into our basement, and they were there within minutes. Alex was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and got the cleanup started right away. He and Cole did a thorough job and communicated well for when they would be at our house and what the recommended next steps should be. Not only did they do good work, but they were kind and caring people, which we value.

These guys are amazing. Darren Kilroy and his crew where super knowledgeable and understanding. They helped us through every step of the process and even helped us with other companies for packing and insurance. In some of my worst days they were calm and had a great work ethic. Sewer line break in the basement. A lot of sewage. So stressful until Alex, Shane, Robert and Cole arrived. Professional, courteous, hard working, friendly. The job they did was amazing!! They cleaned and removed items and drywall quickly. Alex came every morning to check on the equipment and to measure moister in the walls. Mindful of of property. Just an amazing job. Thank you!

Let me start by saying I am the head of a company for customer service and sales. I understand how hard it is to maintain a perfect google rating. I also meet people weekly who have mold in their home.These guys are incredible! Especially Darren k. My basement flooded, writhing 12 hours they were here for the estimate. They worked with me so well, and we’re here within the next day as soon as we had power to setup their equipment. 20 fans, an air scrubber and 2 giant dehumidifiers. They took care of my wet insulation and even cleaned up the basement which wasn’t included.The customer service I have had since the beginning was perfect. I can’t say the same for the “ big” competitors. Who wanted to put me on a waitlist with water in my basement.There should be no other company you call for these events. Everyone is stressed in these situations but this is the company for you I PROMISE. I will be happy to scream the name of this company to everyone I meet with mold needs.Call 1800 water proofing and ask for Darren K if he services your area. Our water pressure tank sprung a leak and we had drywall water damage. We called and within 2 hours Darren K was at my house assessing the situation! He came for the next three days always called first and gave a time that he would be here and was on time every time. He was great and very professional and gave good communication and information about what the plan was and what was going to happen. We are very pleased and definitely want everyone to know about the great service with this business and about Darren K that was so nice, personable and cared about us and the job he was doing!
