I’ve been meaning to hit up this place for years and finally had a chance. Wow. Amazing. Porchetta is something else. The crispy pork texture is fantastic. I will definitely be back!

Was meeting a friend and was superbly hungry so stepped in for a bite. It was a good sandwich on a bun with crispy pork rinds and a little squirt of mustard on the side. Nothing screamed amazing. A minimalistic interior, friendly enough workers, and a basic good sandwich on a small plank of wood. Parking around this area sucked real bad though.

Great vibe, friendly staff too. The pork and crackling sandwich is fresh and very tasty. Help yourself to water. Good value for this quality. Cambie Street close to hostel.

Meat and bread was a great quick eat. The bread and meet here is very unique and taste surprisingly good. I'm not a huge fan of pork and beef but here its seems a lot lighter and it taste good. All and all my friends and I really enjoyed this place it had great people working there a great modern environment and great food.

Porchetta was mediocre as the meat was dry and cold. Do recommend the meatball which was juicy.

I love this place but I haven’t gone in ages. Had the Mac and cheese one but with I had gone for the classic porchetta. Do wish they had mustard on the table I def go through all mine in the first bite. Generated a 3D model of my meal though so you can get a real nice look. Cheerio!

Came here for lunch today and the food and service was great. Porchetta sandwich had perfectly cooked and seasoned pork, the crackling in the sandwich was a great addition. The orange cream soda I had was of good quality as well.The one tiny sore point I had was that it’s a little pricey even for downtown Vancouver IMO. So it’s best if one ate here as a treat. If the sandwiches were just 2 CAD less, I definitely see this shop as my go-to for lunch in the city.

I had a great first visit to Meat & Bread for a quick lunch. They offered a variety of sandwiches, and the Porchetta looked particularly tempting. However, since I recently switched to a diet that only includes white meat, I opted for the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The staff was very patient and helpful when I asked about the ingredients, and they were also friendly and nice. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the bread was fresh and soft. I also had a small kale salad with a light, but tasty dressing. The restaurant had a simple, but pleasant decor and was spacious. I will definitely be returning to Meat & Bread again.

HIDDEN GEM OF VANCOUVER!! What an amazing spot to get a sandwich! I ordered the Porchetta Sandwich and let me just say I went back for more!! Loved the vibe and costumer service was AMAZING! Will definitely be coming back for more and more and more!
