Great and friendly staff. We stayed in two different units. Both were well stocked and extremely clean. Both units were very spacious and had very clean hot tubs. Highly recommend.

Broadwater Inn & Cottages Cape Breton
I stayed here two nights with my wife to start off the Cabot Trail. John was there to greet us with recommendations for the area and even upgraded us to stay in the cottage (we initially booked the inn) which was a pleasant surprise. The cottage was great and we enjoyed the hot tub! Great place to begin the Cabot Trail.

Five start stay in an impeccably clean, comfortable cottage. Exceeded our expectations and it was a pleasant place to return after long days hiking and discovering CB. John was very helpful recommending where to stop, what to do etc. We are already looking forward returning!

My wife and I stayed in the Library room. We had a wonderful stay. John went above and beyond. He was a wealth of information and his hospitality is second to none. My wife and I really enjoyed our conversations with him and highly recommend the Broadwater Inn for a visit to Cape Breton. We hope to visit again!

Worth the visit just to meet John the Innkeeper. A man with a big smile and many stories to share. We stayed 2 nights in the Breton Room - lovely, spacious, super comfy bed and pillows, porch with great view of the lake. The Inn is lovely but as we were early on the season it was not yet fully open. Highly recommend.

Just wanted to express my my outmost Gratitude for the Lovely Experience I had staying at your Cottage. The cottages at your Inn where well kept, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic but even more so that made this place so great was the amazing conversation pieces I had with the owner John . He definitely always went the extra mile and made me feel like family. Thanks again! Looking forward till my next mini vacation............

Loved the entire property! We had our stay at the Baycroft Cottage and everything was perfect. Very very clean, a full and well equipped kitchen, hot tub, and some privacy with a decent view! John and Americo were of great help with everything to make our stay super easy and convenient. They had some great recommendations for spots around the Trail as well! Can’t thank the Pino family enough, and I’ll always recommend them in the future!Cheers!

Terrific stay in a large rm, worth the price charged. The only issue I had was we arrived late and they didn’t give us the room we booked. But the room we got luckily was very nice.

Great place to vacation!! Rented the Gardener's Shed for 2 nights and everything was perfect. Looked better in person that in the pictures. The hot tub was great, the cottage was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, so much so that I overslept both mornings!! The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, with John himself explaining all of the must see attractions, shortcuts, and great things to do in Cape Breton. We enjoyed every bit of out time at Broadwater Inn and we will back for another vacation soon!! Definitely best place to stay on the island!! Thanks for having us John and Dorothy
