Excellent business for your shoe and luggage repairs! He fixed stitching on a favorite piece of luggage as well as a pair of tap shoes I wasn't ready to part with. Highly recommend! (Note: repairs are prepaid, but you will be given a fair quote !)

Louie really does a great job. Another cobbler had done a terrible attempt at resoling my favorite boots, I wasn't happy so I took them to Louie's and am glad I did. They are better than new and look amazing! The last pic you see is the other guys work that Louie fixed.

Louie is an artisan! His knowledge of shoe care and repair is incredible, and he did a fantastic job on my and my wife's shoes in a timely fashion. I also understand that he makes his own belts and hope to buy one from him in the near future. A+.

Had my jacket for over a year,money up front, missed sewing two pockets.Take some pride in your craft and word.So,it was over 150.00 dollars to sew and glue the original neckpiece and put a new slider on an old zipper while missing two ripped pockets that we discussed and was charged for.As far as me not saying nothing about the job ,after a year I just wanted the coat back,cold weather.Maybe a bottle of astroglide by the door for new customers.

I've taken several of my husband's work boots in to Louie and even had Louie fix my favorite purse that had a large rip! He did such a wonderful job, I'm actually looking through my house to see if I can have him work his magic on something else! Everything he touches looks better than brand new. Louie is an inspiration! In his generation, I never thought I'd see someone doing this type of work!Best EVER!!

The owner, Louie, is the best! He's very knowledgeable and fair. I am always satisfied with his work! You can count on him for his honesty and excellence! I'd never take my shoes to anyone else. He also fixes a wide range of leather, vinyl and fabric items and he has an alterations specialist on site!

I had issues with salt on my winter boots. I had “cleaned” them using another product suggested by someone else but it wasn’t working. I went to Louie and he explained why the other treatment didn’t work and recommended something else.I got the salt out but the leather was discolored so I brought the boots back in. He treated the salt one last time, oiled and waterproofed them all for $10.I wish I had before and after pics. They looked better than when I bought them.

I took in two of my favorite pairs of heels. Louie took the time to explain how he could fix them. He kindly listened to my concerns, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. My shoes were repaired so well, that you wouldn't even know they had been worked on. I am so grateful for his quality work and care! I would highly recommend Louie's Leatherworks!
