Certainly a nicer place to sit and watch or play with your pup. The views are great and the grass is much nicer and cleaner for chasing around in. The only complaint I have is that some people don't watch their dogs enough and dumps got missed.

This is a nice and clean fenced park for the furry family member with a view of the ocean!There are tons of blackberries too.Parking is also good.

Fenced with airlock gates. Water and bowls or buckets for those hot summer days. Plastic chair seating.Well worth a visit with your well-mannered dogs.Only reason I'm not rating it five stars is lack of shade and total absence of any landscape feature that would make it more interesting for the dogs.

We are new to the area and it was very hard to find the entrance to the park!! But our boy had a great time when we finally found the entrance!!!

Love bringing my dog here. Very muddy when it's wet, but it's a decent size and close to departure bay beach. A fair number of dogs of all sizes frequent the park. Bring your dog to play with mine!

A consistent 2ft wide path lush with Fauna, Flora, tall leaf-bearing and loftier evergreen trees nearly every step of the way.

Great place to take your dog and let him run around off leash, good coffee house on Departure Bay grab a coffee 1st then head to the park.

Very convenient to the ferry terminal and a good place to let your dog stretch their legs before hitting the island highways. Unfortunately, not all owners pick up after their dog but otherwise good with a water source and chairs and benches. Also, some blackberry bushes. Getting out of the parking is tricky.

I didn't explore outside of the dog park but it was large with lots of grass and fully fenced. My dog had a great time chasing his ball around.
