The Portuguese egg tarts here are the best I have ever had. Their pastry is crispy heaven and their egg / custard filling is worth the drive from anywhere.The other selections are great as well. I had a rum ball here that was other worldly.The star of the show is the egg tarts. I made an excuse to add an hour to my trip to go here to bring pastries to Easter dinner.Amazing!

I love everything here, but the tarts are special! Service is quick, plenty of breakfast options!

Excellent desserts, as always, and consistent with the quality of other locations. Excellent service as well. Their cheesecake is awesome - light tasting, and yet dense. Simple and fresh tasting.

The sweats are amazing. They sell fresh bread and some tal out. Recommend you try bifanas with onions. Best sandwich you ever had for about the price of a burger.

Great little place. Absolutely love that I can find custard tarts close to home. Have had several of their tasty treats and yet to be disappointed. Have also had some of their prepared foods and breads, they were equally tasty!!

Great spot for breakfast and some bakery treats! Stopped in this morning during a snow storm and pretty surprised at how busy it was in here. Easy to figure out once you taste the food. Probably the best omlette I've had at a breakfast spot. Wife has a wrap and enjoyed it as well.Very inexpensive and very tasty. Check it out!

We travelled out of our way with high expectations. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. The corn bread we bought “fresh” was days old. Fell apart after cutting through the rock hard crust. UNEATABLE! We threw it all out to the garbage. Similar to the rude service received upon arrival. We will never return.

I wish there was an option to give 0 or negative stars.. The owner Helder is extremely arrogant and not customer friendly at all.. we ordered my husband’s 40th bday cake and few kids threw up after having the cake.. when I called to give feedback to the store, Helder plainly denied to even listen and asked me to call the head office.. When I told him I could give evidence , all he said was that why are you calling me..and that I was trying to take advantage to get free cake when I didn’t even say anything of refund.. He literally said I know people like you who always want free cake..So disrespectful and honestly he didn’t care at all about my situation.. I was embarrassed in front of my guests as their kid also threw up.. The owner should be ashamed of himself, so rude!

I ordered best of both worlds cake for my kid’s birthday party. So this cake is not available as a pastry and the photo which was available in the bakery shows a different design on corners. My concern when I first saw the cake was it’s finishing. As the corners had actual chocolate pieces instead of cream, the pieces were breaking and coming in the center.I also noticed the letter h was breaking.I understand that cake was made in a different location and was delivered, the commute might change its look. I didn’t like how the male employee took this information. He sounded aggressive. If I pay 122$ with tax for a 30-40 ppl cake I surely expect a near to perfect cake.I still gave 4 stars as the flavour of the cake was upto the mark, was loved by all the attendees and I even referred Caldense to parents of various kids who loved the cake.That’s why custome service is important should e an important part of training.
