Beer and service is great. Guiness on tap and some other local domestics and microbrews. The wings were dried up, would definitely not order those again. Some other food Ive had there is ok, its pub food. The dip was good, i think it was Spinach or Artichoke.. been a minute. We'll be back, mainly for the beers and service.

I went there for lunch with some of my colleagues one Friday, and I was very pleased. Service was friendly, professional and quick, and the interior really helped, and I thought it was unique. Definitely had their own atmosphere going, it was nice. I got a classic burger and a 50/50 of salad and french fries, with a glass of Guiness stout to drink. The fries and salad were both very tasty, and the burger was phenomenal, the beer definitely complimented the meal.Highly recommended.

Not quite the dining experience we were expecting for a decently rated pub. The wait staff were friendly enough, but not very attentive. The room was so dimly lit that the table next to us actually had to use flashlights on their phones to read the menu.. the biggest disappointment though were the Best Nachos in Halifax" that were unseasoned and cold - just kind of damp and bland."

Their chicken sandwich was so good! A bit of a dark environment but that just goes with it being an Irish bar. My bf ordered a Guinness that literally looked like it came from a commercial! Service was great. Definitely coming back

Great service. I had the buffalo cauliflower bites: a great portion, great flavour, but I had to keep checking that I wasn't eating raw chicken because the texture of the cauliflower was similar to raw chicken which was odd. The cauliflower wasn't cooked" or crunchy

Great bar for dinner and drinks. Good selection of beers and entertainment on weekends. Not a sports bar and no tvs around except bar area.

Was here a few weeks back and Finbars always has great service. I was there for my mother's birthday. We had 7 people so we used the private room. It was a great space but we heard continuous banging, I don't know if renovations were happening, but it sounded like it was from the kitchen. Besides the noise the food was great! I tried the veggie tacos!

First time at this place although the service was ok.we orderd the burgerslook good, my wife's burger was raw in the middle, we called the waitress over she said it was safe the meat was ground fresh that day.we got a credit for the raw meat and a new burger which we took to go,we open the burger to find it was dry and burned 1/3 size of the original burger ,will never return for sure
