Joe helped install a ventless dryer at my cottage. He was very pleasant to deal with and highly professional. Joe was very reasonably priced, completed the job on time, and communicated very well through the process. Joe also made a point of prioritizing safety, and gave great advice on how to keep everything at the cottage running smoothly.When I had another emergency a week later, I called Joe again, and he rushed out to help on his day off. Reviewed a few electrical sites in search of an electrician who would be willing to do a few small jobs in my home. I came across People's Electrical that stated 'no job is too small'. Bought a house in Huntsville recently and the panel was still on fuses so we had Joe come in and switch the panel out to breakers. Joe gave us a quote based on a quick inspection and wasn't sure if he could swap it out easily because the old panel was built up on work done over 50 years ago but he was able to replace it with the new panel and wiring with only a few minor adjustments and minimal additional cost.Very happy with his work.

I initially reached out to People's bc they seemed to be the only electrical company that was available 7/24. I contacted Joe late on a Sunday morning. I was having issues with my smoke alarms going off intermittently. Given they are hard wired, I thought the issue could be electrical. He did offer to come on site if I wanted him to. However, after a discussion with Joe, we both agreed that the issue wasn't electrical. I am very impressed by Joe's customer service that I now have him and his company on speed dial.

My wife and I reside primarily in Denver, Colorado, but own a cottage in Muskoka. Unfortunately, late last fall after a windstorm, a neighbor reported that a large hemlock had descended into the gap between the cottage and our wood-shed, taking the electric supply line down with it. The impact was sufficient to bend the roof's electric mast down to a 45 degree angle. All this a bit more traumatic than normal since we had last visited our property in the fall of 2019 -- due to Covid travel restrictions.With some internet research done in Colorado, I was fortunate to locate Joe and People's Electrical. We had determined that it would only be relevant and practical to get the repair work done in the early spring.Exactly on schedule, having provided a thoroughly detailed estimate, quote and final cost below expected price, Joe arrived and accomplished the mast replacement, new mast support cable into the ridge beam with added wood support, ensured roof leak integrity, reestablished connection into the cottage circuit panel, certified the work, and arranged for Ontario Hydro to reconnect the power.Joe was professional, personal, and great at quickly answering all of my questions and concerns by email and telephone. (We have a fair amount of renovation history.) In my mind, the absolute proof of his high quality service is how all this was handled amazingly well -- from initial remote discussions from Colorado, providing photos of the completed work, and confirming my satisfaction, after the job was completed -- even now that we are finally at the cottage (Fall 2021).I would not hesitate hiring Joe for any electrical project. Professionalism, knowledge, competence, fair pricing. Who could ask for more!

We needed some electrical work and got a few quotes. Joe from People's Electrical was quick to quote and gave us a fair price. The work done by Joe was excellent. He solved all the issues that were there before he came and worked late. Joe has a very rare work ethic as he worked non-stop. He installed a new panel as well as an outdoor generator hookup. Joe installed several light fixtures, and conducted electrical outlet and switch repairs. He was able to transform our kitchen into a beautiful bright space. All of the work was of top quality and he did so in a professional manner. Following completion of his work he followed up to ensure we were satisfied. I had tried over the last couple years to find an electrician to do some work for us. I had at least 4 companies come out, look at the job, throw out some numbers, and then never get back to me with a quote.Joe took the time to walk the property with me, look at everything we needed, gave me possibly options; probably spent about an hour just looking at the whole job and talking with me about what we wanted. Joe got back to me promptly with a very reasonable quote. He came out and did most of the work but then we had to wait for Ontario Hydro to give us some information about what we could do next and unfortunately we could not do what we had hoped. Joe had several alternatives for us and he was very helpful.Joe was a very down to earth guy and I appreciated how much he explained what he was doing to me. His communication was excellent, he always showed up when he said he was going to, and he upgraded our panel so we do not have any more problems.
