I called to book a tattoo and Bella got me in on the same day. I told her on text message what I wanted to get tattooed. It was a simple design, inspired by a favourite image on Pinterest! She booked me in for later in the evening, same day. She was professional and on time . She had a rough sketch that looked great! She stenciled the design on me . And wow, the tattoo turned out unreal! It is so beautiful that I actually had tears in my eyes! My best friend was with me and she kept saying over and over how perfect the lines are and how beautiful my script is. I am blown away. I thought I was going to get a nice tattoo , but my tattoo is unbelievably perfect and crisp , custom and special. You can totally see she has insane skills and that she has been tattooing for a really long time. Bella said that she is usually booking 2 years in advance but her mom died this year. She said she took some time off and is now getting back to work. I’m totally booking my sleeve with her ! And I don’t even have to wait long to start it! If you want an amazing tattoo you should get in with her now while you can before she’s a big wait again. I have 5 tattoos from other Kelowna tattoo artists and its the best tattoo I’ve ever had.

Bella did a great job on me and my 2 friends tattoos. She took extra time and payed a lot of attention to detail. Super easy going as well just an overall good vibe. She also stayed till about 3am working when she obviously didn’t have to do that and we really appreciated it. If you are in Kelowna looking to get tatted this is the place to go!

I contacted Bella to get her to do a custom font piece on my jawline between a bunch of tattoos I currently had. She spent several hours making sure it was perfect and it was the exact font that I wanted. It is 100% perfect and I get compliments on it all the time. No other artist that I have ever been to has spent the amount of time that she has with me with the great detail and precision that she has. It is clear that she is an extremely talented award-winning artist and deserves the credit that she has. If you are looking for a custom font tattoo definitely go to Bella as it is clear that she cares about her tattoos and cares about her clients. Bella has also done one of my sleeves and Incorporated every single idea that I had into it without any kind of arguments or any kind of pushiness towards ideas of her own. She worked very hard to work with my ideas and to make me an amazing tattoo that I am going to be happy with for the rest of my life. We went to 10 tattoo shops in Vancouver around where we live for a small tattoos that are matching for the eight of us… Out of all the tattoo shops we’ve ever been to ever, Bella and Platinum Tattoo spent the most time with us out of anybody. She really cares about her artwork and she wants to make sure that you get exactly what you want. Best customer service we’ve had hands down five star!

Edit: the owner/only tattoo artist keeps changing her name (Heather, lulu, Bella). Don't be fooled, it's still the same person.I've waited until my tattoos fully healed before deciding if I would post anything.They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Whether it be the Mexican flags emblem that's not centered or Costa Ricas flags line work being crooked or the grey smudges in Canada's and United States, there are a lot of negatives to pull from the tattoo itself.But my main quarrel is that I was in town for this tattoo for 11 hours, when I live an hour away. I didn't leave the building til midnight. Instead of driving home to feed my dog, I stayed at a friend's house because I was so distraught. I don't have a kind word in my vocabulary to describe the horror that are these two tattoos. When communicating with the artist, she described her studio as being under construction. From the majority of the legit reviews I've read I'm not convinced this studio exists, as this seems to be a repeated story with other clients. The artist sent copy and pasted emails about trusting the tattoo artist to know what they're doing and size restrictions, which I respect as this was not my first tattoo.In my hesitation at the huge design change to my idea, Heather used every excuse in the book to get me to reconsider. She changed her tattoo plans to fit my original size idea after saying anything of this size was impossible. She woke up late on the day of the appointment and left me to do important errands hours longer than she intended. She texted me saying how she's the best artist in Canada and about how many awards she has/has won in order to convince me to reconsider. She even texted me after I signed a waiver, to feel free to bring drinks to her studio.When she finished my first tattoo at 10pm, she argued with me about changing my quote tattoo to include an ellipses or a line. She was adamant that she was the professional artist and knew what would look good. I put my foot down as this was a direct quote from a book. She never re-stenciled, and free handed a good portion of both tattoos which I didn't realize until my friend told me afterwards.She did not start tattooing until 8pm and I left at midnight. I should have listened to my gut and all of these red flags (ha pun), and the regret is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life.

I just had a tattoo done this past weekend.Best in town by far! her detail, shading, creativity and speed are awesome. Heather's vision to see the tattoo and create it from scratch is outstanding. Creating such intricate art takes time but Heather does it quick and painless. Her customer service was fantastic!! I've never had a business offer me pizza, snacks and drinks on the house, not to mention the fact she took time to drop me off at home after working 9 hours on my tattoo. I've never dealt with any company willing to offer me this, talk about going the extra mile for you customer that is it.

I got my first two tattoo's from Heather in September. I came to Heather with my ideas and she created the perfect image, better than I had hoped for. Originally I was going to get the 'Heart & XO' in black but then she pulled out some colors as we were going through them to find a red I was happy with for the 'L', and I fell in love with a blue and green. She then blended and shaded both tattoos, already exceeding my expectations. As it was my first time, Heather was very professional and patient when I had a ton of questions. She also showed me all of her tools that she would be using and opened all of them in front of me so that I could see she only used sterile tools and proceeded to discard the tools once she was finished. She made this a very comforting and fun experience. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. Can't wait to get more tattoos Heather! Thank you again!G

She took a deposit, then kept delaying her arrival because she couldn't find a ride. After over an hour of waiting we cancelled and requested a refund. She refused. She is running a mobile service without having transportation at her disposal, and she is unable to keep up with demand and gets details of other appointments mixed up. I would highly recommend steering clear.

I went to a tattoo shop in Vernon and got a terrible tattoo. I wanted a realistic tattoo and it was nothing like I wanted. I asked several sources and every knowledgeable tattooed person recommended Heather as the best artist in the Okanagan area for realistic animal portraits. Even my girlfriend in Vancouver recommended her. Her shop Platinum Tattoo is very clean and covered in paintings that she has made that are absolutely beautiful! When I asked Heather what to do, she suggested that we do an entirely new tattoo so I can get the exact owl image that I wanted. We will figure out later what to do with the other one. My new owl tattoo that Heather tattooed looks absolutely incredible! My brother mentioned that my tattoo actually looks even better than the photo that I brought in to her! Heather spent extra time making sure that everything was perfect for me. She tattooed fast , faster than my other tattoos that I've had done and the price was fair . My tattoo is so much more detailed and more amazing than I ever thought it could be. Heather Is exactly what I heard, she was the best artist for the realistic tattoo I wanted and truly an amazing artist and tattoo professional. I already have another tattoo planned for my leg. Thank you Heather for giving me such an amazing piece of art! It's better than I ever could of thought it would be! I can't wait for the next one!
