The Salvation Army shelter is for men and it is located in a very good area I entered inside the receptionist was kind and we'll coming.i did not enter far from reception but the be place looks good and cool.

I love the Staff. They are wonderful!!!! Always helpfulI'm very excited to use the laundromat3$ to wash AND dry. Instead of 5$ to wash and 5$ to dry !!

They accept large donations at the back of the store. The staff are helpful and congenial.

I have a friend that was staying at the Salvation army and for no reason he was kicked out of his room and not even allowed to take his possessions or even given a reason for why he was being thrown out to sleep on the streets tonight, and it is cold out(end of January).As he was talking to me a heard a lady shout at him to get off the property. My friend has suffered brain damage in November due to an officer beating his head into a wall repeatedly. Some days he sounds like himself and other days he sounds impaired. How can these people do this???? They get $1200 or more from the government to house and provide a room per person every month. So is this a money scam???? Kick a person out after a week or two then throw them out and get some other unfortunate and get $1200 again (double dipping) This needs to be dealt with. My friend is now on the street freezing and did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment!!!!!!!!!

The only place/people that extend their hands to me when I needed. How could I ever complain about it!

Always will give you a meal and water when in need, busy during the day of course but very helpful

It's a good place to stay if you can control some bad habits. The meals are great. The showering rooms are great. Their towels suck mind you, so I would buy your own. At only $175 bi-weekly or $388 monthly it turns out to be $12.5 a day so it's reasonable low income housing.

Words cannot explain the difference the people, the location , the staff, the effort that is put into making the salvation army a success for people who genuinely need family, a place to belong...every staff member from the south to north, east to west make it what the founders would say a place for everyone"..."
