Derek and his partner were amazing fixing multiple septic issues even climbing into my tank to do so. I've been having septic problems for multiple years from a poor installation and I'm finally confident in my systems preformance. I cant thank Derek and his team enough for there professionalism and quick response time.

Extremely unimpressed with this company.We booked a septic inspection with the septic doctor Inc back in September through our real estate agent and we were told there would be a travel fee which we accepted and agreed to. Upon the inspection date the seller did not have the septic tank available for inspection as promised so we had to reschedule. We were told by Derrick explicitly that the seller would be paying the second travel fee since it was his fault it wasn't ready. Septic test was completed another day and we get our invoice and there are 2 travel fees listed. When asked multiple times why we have this fee added twice we were told the seller refused to pay it. When questioned why that was then our job to pay for we got no real answer and they ignored our calls and emails.After months of no answer from this company and no help from our real estate rep we decided to cut our losses and pay the second travel fee so we could finally have the report. We were told that when the balance was paid we would get the report the same day as it's automatically sent out via email. Days go by....still no report.....still no answer to emails and phone calls. When we finally get ahold of someone we're told that we will get the report when they are back in the province, which I seriously doubt they will stick to.At this point if there is an issue with the septic it is going to have to be paid for out of pocket regardless. There was zero point in booking a septic inspection and we could have saved our 1400$ and just hoped for the best. If you're thinking of using this company we advise you to look through the reviews because they are horrible and untrustworthy not just to us but to others. If you want to throw away your money and hope for a report at some time when it's convenient for them then use this company.We will be pursuing legal action going forward to deal with this since it's wasted so much of our time and we still don't have our report.

Derek was recommended by my realtor to perform the septic and well inspection. We were so impressed with his services I hired him to correct the septic field issues found during the inspection. His team was curtious and answered any questions I had during the repair. They did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier.

The Septic Doctor should be on your list of professional contacts! We needed testing of our water and septic systems but struck gold in the process. We found Derek Hale and his team. Derek was kind, thorough, knowledgeable and provided expert advice and service in a timely manner. His recommendations allowed us to close the sale on our house with the confidence we were looking for. Billing and payment was easy. So happy with our decision. I would not hire Derek for septic systems jobs only, I definitely would have him by my side on a 1 year long expedition to the south pole, cross the Sahara desert on foot or climb the Everest without oxygen. Derek and his crew are very reliable, hard workers and commuted. Highly recommended!

Called a few times (both numbers listed) over a period of 2 weeks for service and left voicemails. The company was highly recommended and is the only reason I continued to try to reach out. I even tried to email and no reply.

Septic tank guys are unbelievable. I have never saw anybody digging, installing 10 sonotubes and back filling in less than 4 hours, and Aaron left the yard so pristine like nothing ever happened. Thank you a lot.

I had a very tight timeframe to close on a property, got one inspector to come in who could not do the job. We had no one else to come in a timely manner. Yes, like many people here I go by the reviews, and honestly I was reluctant of giving this company a try, I did anyways. And boy, I was wrong! Derek moved things around, showed up on time, Friday eve! Checked the septic tank with me, unfortunately the seller, possibly not knowing, failed to have the tank cap dug and exposed. Derek, was adamant he would not charge a dime for travelling all the way from God knows where (I threw 50 bucks anyways into his truck, cos I knew he would not accept it from my hands)Not only he took the time to explain me whatever he could, to make some sense of both our time worthing it, he also proactively called the listing agent to kindly explain the situation first hand and offered to come back Monday (one day before we needed to meet conditions) to get the inspection done. I found Derek to be a very genuine guy, who went above and beyond to help out. I can only wonder how many other awesome services he provided, but people, like myself sometimes, just did not took the time to leave him a 5 star review. Being a business owner myself, unfortunately it's impossible to please everyone and that's where I see the not so good reviews came from. Anyways, I can speak for myself only. And highly advice you give him a try and see it for yourself.
