Gastown Steam Clock
We reached 15 minutes before the clock began signing and pouring out its steam. It was wonderful and a soothing tune to hear. Even the area was so good, full of tourists and guides all around.

Gastown Steam Clock
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The clock comes with its own history and is mentioned in every bit of Vancouver publicity that you see. It plays a wee tune on the hour and 'steams' every 15 mins. Must see!Gastown is a lovely place to wander around in general. One of our guides told us to avoid Gastown for various reasons but I'm happy that we chose to ignore his advice.

I grew up listening to the sound of an antique grandfather clock standing in the corner of the living room. It is still with my family, but its mechanism is getting too old that it gets fixed more than it actually works. It plays the same music as the steam clock, and it plays every 15 mins. When I lived in Vancouver, I didn’t think it matters. It is just a clock. It’s not as symbolic as Statue of Liberty nor the Golden Gate Bridge. It is small, insignificant and it’s singing is late at least 3 mins. But it feels different this time, while I became a visitor. The old steam clock is still the same, still late, but felt like an old friend.

Gastown Steam Clock
Interesting to see but large crowds all around it. Difficult to get a picture without a bunch of people in the background. I believer there’s some music that plays from the clock every 15 minutes which is quite cool. I heard it’s one of, if not the last, steam powered clocks in the world. Oh, and it’s off real time by an hour haha I guess someone forgot to set it after daylights savings time. No tickets needed to see.

One of the great treasure the city has to offer for tourists. Highly recommend visiting this place just before hourly clock whistles. However, it blows every 15 minutes but the those blows doesn't last for a long time.

Interesting and well maintained historical clock, which blows steam whistles on the quarter hour. On the hour, it gives a longer display. It can get very busy around the clock. My advice would be to go as early as you can if you want a good view.

Really exquisite and historical clocks. You can naturally discover by walking Vancouver downtowns. The alarm goes off every 15 minutes.

Gastown is a great place to visit and this is a very cool landmark to stop by. The clock whistles every quarter of an hour and every hour it whistles longer. I enjoy the view whenever I get a chance.Great attraction, fantastic and excellent photography opportunity. Classic brick buildings, beautiful trees, cool restaurants and bars. Definitely a fun street to be walking around.Must visit in Vancouver.

Gastown Steam Clock
Visited this place around 7’o clock in the evening. People are getting gathered before 7’o clock to experience the steam whistle to tell the time. It is such an antique style clock and this place is very pleasant to walk around. Majority of the shops will close by 6pm. There is no ticketing system to watch this but neeed to find the car parking spot. From hear to Canada place is just walkable and can experience the breathtaking sceneries. And their can visit flyover Canada.
