I've eaten at this OJ's a few times and the food has usually been pretty good. It's your typical pub fare. However, the last time I was there, the traditional poutine was VERY salty. Yes it was edible, but not delicious. Plus, the gravy wasn't hot enough to melt the curd cheese, which is a must for a great poutine (piping hot). It was the first time I've had this menu item and I don't think I would order it again.That said, I have enjoyed other dishes here in the past. The restaurant is good, service prompt and friendly, and it has a positive atmosphere. I'll just steer clear of the poutine next time!

The food was super good and our service was great. I found that all the tables were close together and it felt squishy. Having severe anxiety, being surrounded by people that close can sometimes trigger and anxiety attack. luckily there is one little table right by the entrance that I've been able to get each time so far. They are really accommodating.

Small portions for parts of the meal like the gravy!! If you are getting TWO sides that should include a larger gravy!! AhhhhLarger portion as the chicken burger was big(over cooked and burnt around the edges).Waitress was really nice as we sat there for hours talking and laughing.

me and wife decided to go here for lunch and enjoying ordered menu: buttered chicken, nachos, chicken wings, frozen margarita and last but not the least the red velvet. excellent food and drinks having good times here, thank stacey for the service and of course blake for that mouthwatering dessert. highly recommended this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The server was new, but very friendly.The fries were burnt and saturated in oil.One person in our group ordered a wrap and the lettuce had so much water in it that it was pudding on the plate and making a wet soggy mess. Half of this chicken club wrap was left uneaten.The atmosphere, new server and drinks from the bar were all good. The kitchen fell flat on their face. I probably won't go back.

** update below first paragraph is original review**They don’t want you here with your family or kids. 8:30pm and wouldn’t serve us because we are a family. And my kids are mature citizens. Cmon ownership get with the times! It’s not just white middle aged men out wanting to get drunk anymore.*update*I have amended my rating from a 1star to a 5star. Great job manager Blake getting in touch with me within a couple days to discuss the situation and further by talking to corporate and getting Original Joes Strathmore to amend their rule with regards to minors so families with minors are now welcome anytime! Since I did not eat or receive service I am basing my new rating only on the quality and speed of communication and friendly response. Amazing job Blake. I can’t wait to bring the family by next time I am through.

$11.25 for an inch of soup in a container? What an absolute joke. My coworkers have told me horror stories across the board (small portions, rubber burgers, etc.) but i figured I'd try it out anyways. I understand restaurants are struggling with inflation but soup should be the least of your concerns. Won't be back in any way, shape, or form. Be better.
