Was very well looked after by Nathan. My muffler had detached on my vehicle and Nathan was able to get me in last minute. He replaced the muffler and managed to save the connector pipe, saving me from having to replace this expensive part. He also checked the rest of the vehicle to see if there was anything that might need replacing soon, which luckily there wasn't anything that he had flagged! Definitely one of the better experiences that I've had with a mechanic, and recommend the services provided at Midas on Marine thanks to Nathan's service!

Nathan has been with Midas for a long time and I basically go to the Midas that he works at. He has been in Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver and now West Vancouver. If you check the reviews on the Midas that he worked/works at, it usually gets very high ratings.Nathan is knowledgeable, authentic, very willing to help and offer advice, friendly, and most importantly honest.The experience I had at West Vancouver Midas today was what I always receive from Nathan- Exceptional! Took the time to explain what they have done on the car and answered any questions that I had.West Vancouver is a quite a drive from Burnaby but the peace of mind I received from him is well worth it.Highly recommended!

We were about to buy a car from a private person. To be sure the vehicle was solid we brought it to Midas to ask to control it. They said all was ok. After 1 month we discover the car has a huge problem on the suspension with a huge crack and rust. It’s not even safe to drive, and Midas told us was all ok. So basically we lost 5000$ to buy this car cause of the Midas check on that one. And now it’s not safe and not possible to sell also.Bad job!

I came to have an ongoing issue regarding my radiator looked at, as a second opinion. I had previously spent $1300 at another mechanic shop in north van and they never fixed the initial problem I paid for. Manny from Midas west van was a gem. He was super honest and told me that the other shop did a bunch of work that had nothing to do with the radiator and that’s why it was still over heating. He gave me his card and told me to back to the other place and ask that they replace the radiator for free as that was the initial problem. I followed his instructions and the other shop agreed to do the proper work that should have initially been done for free. Thank you to Manny for being so honest and helping me out. Most appreciated and I will definitely come back for any future repairs.

I regularly have my car serviced at Midas. I really appreciate Nate’s service and can always trust that he will get to the root of my car issues and repair what is necessary. When it comes to car problems, I really value having a mechanic/shop I can trust.

I originally had my muffler and exhaust fixed at a different Midas location in Surrey. As I live in Whistler, I asked if I could go to a different location that was closer. The process was seamless and Bobby recommended me to the other 2 closer locations to get it checked, and also finding out my muffler was on lifetime warranty was awesome! They transferred my paperwork to the West Van location and there Nathan took care of the service and made sure everything was fixed in a timely manner whilst keeping me updated! He even explained what they had fixed today in a diagram, which I found super helpful as it gives me more understanding of the whole process! Very impressed with both locations, and their service. Highly recommend !

Unfortunately they seem to think that their clients are all stupid. I took the car in for the hand brake to be adjusted. There are three places where this could be adjusted. Instead of checking these first , they came up with the solution that the whole rear callipers needed replacing and wanted to charge me exorbitant costs to do the replacement ands still charged me for their time to come up with this stupid solution. I don't know if its a franchise but they are not professional at all.
