Awesome service! Fair price, they charged me less than quoted as it was faster to replace my axles than anticipated. I had been to two other garages, they said they couldn’t find the problem…Victoria Transmission found the issue right away! Highly recommend Victoria Transmission!

In an emergency on my part due to a moved ahead start date for work. A call was made to this shop. After a conversation I was told to show up Monday morning and they would have a look. No guarantees because the were booking two weeks ahead. Total professionalism. The issue was diagnosed. And was remedied. Nothing but praise for a shop that helps when they can. Gary and Natalie and the crew were professional, honest, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Never felt like they were upselling or pushing any unnecessary work. Great communication during the times I've had to take my car in to see them, The quoted prices were always on par with what I expected and usually came out to less than quoted. Some of the best mechanics in Vic. I highly recommend!

Very happy with Victoria Transmission & Auto Care. My 2017 Mazda 3 was stuck in Victoria due to a malfunctioning transmission and I live north of the island. The staff there were very busy, but managed to find a solution for my car (Mazda quoted more or wanted to put me in a new vehicle) and within less time than they quoted me. Peter was very pleasant and sympathetic to my case. I would highly recommend them. (They were recommended to me)

I recently had my transmission rebuilt along with some other drivetrain work done at Victoria Transmission. I am very impressed with their work, service, and pricing. They actually talked me out of some work that I thought needed doing - the true sign of a trustworthy shop.

I thought I reviewed this place but Google is asking me to review it so I will make sure my review appears here as this is a very good business and worthy of the five stars.I brought my car here for a suspected transmission noise. Gary was extremely conscientious and detail oriented in diagnosing the issue. We eventually determined it to be front wheel bearings, one noisier than the other, but both requiring immediate attention. On another occasion I brought the same vehicle in for a seized caliper in the rear. Peter was very detailed and conscientious, providing photos, and diagnosed the car as needing rear brake service. Both times I was kept well informed and charged reasonable prices for the work. Secondly, on my other car they were very hard working in getting a seized bolt unseized and completing my front end adjustments and four wheel alignment. I bring both my cars here and will continue to trust them with my automobile needs.To add to this review, I recently brought my family vehicle back again for a leaking power steering line and clicking noises when I turn. Both CV axles were on their way out which I kind of knew based on the sound, and they quickly diagnosed my power steering issue. Once again I felt very comfortable knowing that I wasn't being overcharged and they actually found me better CV axles with a lifetime warranty for cheaper than Honda wanted for their parts which only had a one-year warranty, so I was very pleased with that.They also quickly identified a clunkling noise from the back that I asked them to investigate while it was on the hoist for the CV axles. It was just a worn down rubber bushing and not a safety concern at all, and I can likely have that done the next time I'm in for an oil change for a few extra bucks - this is the kind of expertise and honesty you need because anybody could just say oh yeah the clunking noises are this and that, and overcharge you for something you don't need and you would never know. Integrity is a fading virtue these days.Gary and Peter do their best to see everybody and make sure everyone's car is fixed properly at a reasonable price and I highly recommend them. I would add the advice that if you wish to bring your car here call ahead and set an appointment date because they are so busy and well-frequented so they are limited for drop in space, but it's always worth the wait in my opinion!

My experience with this shop was overwhelmingly positive. I called them to explain the issue with my truck and Peter spent 15 minutes on the phone with me explaining how the part worked and offered a tentative (and ultimately accurate) diagnosis based on the information I gave him. When I was able to get it down there, they fixed it the same day. These guys are really busy and they were still able to prioritize my repair. That means a lot to me as a consumer.The estimate I was given over the phone based on Peter's diagnosis was what I paid in the end. Gary was also a pleasure to chat with when I picked my truck up.Automotive repair is a difficult business. I know this from personal experience. You're constantly dealing with people who are frustrated because their vehicle has broken down. For a company like this to have a 4.8 star Google rating, they have to put their customers first, and they definitely do. To them, I'm just some guy. I'd never been to their shop before and they treated me like a 20-year client. They have earned my repeat business and referral.Well done.

I had made an appointment to have a pre-purchase inspection done on a car I was hoping to buy. When I arrived it was clear that they had a lot of cars to service which made me a bit nervous since I had borrowed the car for the inspection. Gary and Natalie quickly put me at ease and shortly after I arrived home, called to let me know when the car would be available for pick up. Gary went over the detailed report verbally and sent the complete report (pictures included) to my email. He called the next day to see if I had any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Victoria Transmission to my family and friends.

I always take my Jeep here! The customer service is excellent: they're friendly, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain to me and also show me what's going on so I can make the best decision. Plus, they do what they can to fit me in quickly in those times that something urgent needs to get done. Highly recommend.
