Dr. Fabian Tai & Associates - Vision Therapy & Optometrist

I was referred to Dr.Natalia Fong to review my eye condition, as I was in a phase of not knowing what's going on and it was only getting worse.I have to say that she is probably one of the nicest Doctors that I've crossed by in my life, very professional, gives you the space to explain all your symptoms even the tiny ones handles them very patiently, she's very considered and caring, she followed up with me with through appointments and between them she calls to make sure you're doing okay , she's definitely a lovely, sweet and a professional doctor.The center it self and the atmosphere is so calling and give you that relaxing vibe, the ladies that work there are ever so sweet, and have such amazing personalities, they always greet you with a smile and help you and handle their customers professionally, never have I crossed anyone walking in and waiting long until he was noticed by any of the staff member, so that isn't something you experience in all the clinics that you walk in to.I would recommend anyone who has an eye issue or even want to prescribe a glasses to go to them.I appreciate all your efforts.

Dr. Fabian Tai is an exceptional doctor whose practice is well-rounded, thorough, and comprehensive. Him and his associates are all patient, kind, friendly, and welcoming. The office atmosphere and environment promotes a sense of relaxation and comfort. Dr. Fabian is considerate, thoughtful, and caring in his approach which supports the building of positive experiences in clients and patients. Dr. Tai and his practice is exemplary of what I envision to be the future of medical practices for optometry and others.

Dr Fabian Tai is an excellent, caring and thorough optometrist. He was recommended to me by people in my local Oakville post concussion syndrome group. Dr Tai had, and has, been instrumental to me, and my concussion friends, regaining a “normal” life. I have been seeing optometrists for over fifty years, but I have never received such attentive care.My first concussion, from falling downstairs in 2018, left me with a lot of vision and cognitive trouble. All my favourite pastimes like reading and handicrafts were now extremely difficult. Dr Tai helped me with a thorough eye evaluation and new glasses (not progressives, as they made my eyes worse). Over time cognitive abilities eventually returned to about 90% of where I’d been before my bad fall.My third concussion, though, as a result of being tboned in a car accident in 2021, changed everything. Thankfully my insurance company agreed to pay for the vision therapy he recommended, and it has been a life changing difference.I have been doing vision therapy with Dr Tai’s associate, Kathleen, for months now. I cannot believe the progress I have made! I can watch movies on tv. I can read. I can drive (not yet at night!) I have fewer headaches. I’m beginning to feel like I could even travel.I highly recommend Dr Fabian Tai.

I found Dr. Tai's office last week, following a recommendation from my girlfriend after experiencing a work-place injury, resulting in a concussion. Dr. Tai and his team were very professional and accommodating of my symptoms: onset light sensitivity, dizziness, nausea and headaches. The attention to detail started from the moment of booking with a great triage. The pre-test was nothing like I have experienced before, but I was very impressed at the technology invovled. I had an exam with Dr. Tai and found the experience very profound. He explained everything very well and made things very easy to understand, considering my current state of mind. I will be having a follow up appointment with him soon. I look forward to being in his care with his entire team from this point onward.

Dr. Tai is the best optometrist I've had. Not only did he more accurately determine my eye prescription when I first started going to him, under his care my vision has improved! He's easy going and personable, and his staff is very friendly too.

Dr. Tai is incredible. In the past, I have had a tough time adjusting to new glasses I would experience dizziness and felt off balance when walking. I was fearful of how I was going to deal with changes in my sight if I could not adapt when I needed a change in my prescription glasses. Dr. Tai took my issues seriously; he performed a number of tests to understand what was causing these issues. Once testing was complete, Dr. Tai suggested I try a newer product called Neurolens. The difference was remarkable. I had no issues adjusting to my new Neurolens glasses and since I started wearing my new glasses, I have seen a significant reduction in the number and frequency of headaches I had been dealing with for years.I cannot thank Dr. Tai enough for his caring and persistence in finding a solution for me and for introducing me to Neurolens. It has made a world of difference.

Dr. Tai and Stephanie provided our daughter with Vision Therapy treatments and our experience was amazing from day 1. Dr Tai helped us understand the issues our daughter was facing with her convergence deficiency and defined a roadmap to help her manage and ultimately overcome them. Stephanie was very supportive in every VT session and built a strong relationship with our daughter. We are very pleased with the care that Dr. Tai and Stephanie provided and would recommend them to anyone looking for Vision Therapy treatment.

I had a great experience here! My vision therapist was Stephanie and I really enjoyed our Vision Therapy sessions because she (and the rest of the staff) were extremely compassionate and welcoming and the classes were personalized and not rushed at all. The area and the vision therapy room were always well organized and clean. I would definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Tai was referred by my sister-in-law due to my consistent headache after long hours of work. During the scheduling, they let you know the cost of eye exams ahead of time and gives you a reminder the day before your schedule. The clinic was clean and staffs were friendly. I was impressed with the pre-tests which were thorough, complex and uses high technology. The highlight of my visit was the consultation with Dr. Tai. He connected my job, childhood and academic experience on how it impacted my vision. He also made sure that I understand my situation and gave me multiple options on how to manage my vision care. One of them is having neurolens, which has helped relieved my headaches, improved my focus at work and everyday activities. Stacie assisted me in my lenses and gave me more details about neurolens. She was very accommodating, bubbly and very eager to answer all of my questions about glasses. I did not feel the pressure to order my glasses right away (which is typical in other clinics) and she even told me to think about my options and arranged a call with one of the VTs to answer VT questions that I have. Overall, Dr Tai’s clinic has changed my perception in visiting optometry clinics and I am extremely grateful that I am under their care.

I was referred to Dr. Tai by my own optometrist (a good sign) due to persistent double vision from a concussion. I found him to be very caring and professional, with very innovative techniques and approaches to evaluating my vision problems. I was a tough case and ended up doing 4 sessions of Vision Therapy (shout out to my excellent and patient therapist, Kathleen!) and have made remarkable progress, particularly with my latest set of glasses.
