CIBC Branch with ATM

I was supposed to pick-up a new credit card at this branch. They were supposed to call me when it comes. It has been 3.5 weeks and nothing. I called 3 times but you could only leave messages. Nobody ever called back.Avoid this place!

I also find it strange they have no cash, however, I love how friendly and accommodating they are. This is my favourite bank. They genuinely are happy to see people unlike some banks where I feel like I’m bothering them when I ask them to make change for my till.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. Seemed annoyed that they had to get up to actually do their job, then wouldn't let me purchase a bank draft because I didn't have ID on me at that present moment. NEVER have I been asked to show ID at any point during my over 20 years with CIBC- aside from opening the account to begin with. Worst branch in Barrie.

Parking is terrible, there are no staff present - ever, and the ATM vestibule is filthy. That being said, you do get a free homeless guy with every withdrawal....

I have had an account at this branch for over 20 years. They have become a teller less and cash less bank, which is to say useless. Who ever heard of a bank with no money and no tellers? I recently went in with cash that I wanted to change for hundred dollar bills for a wedding gift. I was told that they would show me how to take money out of my account from the bank machine, but they only had $20s & $50s, which is already what I had in my hand. I had to go to a different bank to exchange the cash. Today I went for a walk downtown to use the bank machine at 4pm on a Saturday. Someone is begging for money at the doorway of the bank, a man is sleeping on the floor in where the bank machines are. I am slightly over 5 feet tall, and female. This is not the first time this has happened. I don’t feel safe getting $ out of the bank machine. I know there is lots of cameras, great so they record me being robbed and maybe assaulted. Not impressed!! Will likely move my business elsewhere, but it is inconvenient.

It is a good place. They hired a security guard to deal with homeless people sleeping inside vestibule. During business hours when staff and security is there. Had no issues and very friendly staff.

The place is empty. Three employees are just chatting. They told me to wait. It honestly makes me furious just entering a CIBC at this point. It doesn't even resemble a bank inside, it looks like an apple store on the brink of bankruptcy.

Noone at desk for 10 minutes. Won't take deposits in cash. Sent me to another branch.

Worst staff ever. Their receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. They didn't let us open our account just because we were 18 mins late. Their way of talking was quite rude and they even harassed my friend.
