H&R Block

As a freelancer, coming to this H&R block put me in debt from my taxes that took me 4 years to get out of. I’m not even kidding. Now, years after, the government has re-evaluated the taxes done by this H&R block and immediately gave me back a huge chunk cash. After going to a real accountant, my taxes should have been 1/4 of the cost. Coming here was one of the single worst decisions of my entire life. Did I mention it cost $300 and took one hour for them to screw up my tax return that bad?

Very bad service!I went there and waited 15mins I almost left but someone told me they were gonna take me in 5mins...which took another 15mins. The whole time the lady was taking care of other people leaving me alone...thinking that i should've leftMy tax return was very low compared to other years and I got a notice of assessment and i have to pay 274$

They tell me come for five I show up at five then they say come back in 45 minutes. What was the point of making an appointment.

this place is awful...terrible! I went there with my partner 2 weeks before we were going on a business trip for a month. we dropped off our information and they said it would be no problem to get our taxes done before we left. a week later we dropped in and they still had not finished and said they had some questions for us. we sat down with them and it was evident that they had not even started but Redwan" the man who was doing our taxes promised he would have them done. Forward to the last day before we left and our 6th visit to this H & R block location and our last day before we left. "Redwan" was finally tallying up the cost of my taxes. He showed me the amount owing for 2 years of taxes to be $780.00 cdn. I was amazed and appalled. There is no way 2 years of taxes could cost close to $800.00

They were super nice and explained to me all the details for my tax deductions! I’m definitely coming back!

Booked an appointment several days in advance. They called 1 hour before the day of to say they were having system problems" and if I wouldn't mind coming later or another day. I did mind

I used the online remote tax filing service, and it has been over seven months and my tax returns are still not completely filed (despite having already paid). Half the time I call the office, no one picks up. I've never had such a slow and unprofessional experience, and this will be my last time using H&R Block.

Store opens at 9. I had an appointment at 9. I waited for one hour infront. No one ever showed up. I tried calling too. Nope no answer. I should have read the other reviews before...
