Kingsway Inn MOtel

Stayed in room 109 and it wasn't that clean. Found holes in the comforter and hair in the bedding, chairs were dusty, thermostat were not functioning, there were grossy stains on the towel. Last but not least receptionist were asking a lot of personal and irrelevant questions.

We stayed in room 101. If anyone reading my review please do not stay in this motel specially in room 101 it has bed bugs they bit me all over my body and face. We just had to get out from there in 2 hours and paid 150$ for bed bugs lol.and had to throw some of our stuff and Now I’m not sure if bed bugs are travelling with us in our luggage.when I called the reception next morning to tell about bugs he just said sorry for the inconvenience.roomwas dirty carpet was sticky bath tub and curtain had dirty stains. This motel was the only one available had to stay there but we didn’t know that it could be that bad.Please do not stay in this motel.

Is there an option for 0 star? No thats why you still have few stars as rating!Lets talk about the good thing first, nothing apart from the guy giving me fan which i had topick up myself from the reception! the worst hotel/motel experience! even a liked thing about this property is a complaint itself. The guy asked me to take the fan from reception because his jacket was in car or something! Where is the hospitality?And now the bad things,the rooms are not as good as shown in the pictures, the staff needs to be trained, they treat things like its a self serve motel! they do not pick up calls at night from room tho it was clearly stated that emergency call after 11, please call 9. There thermostats do no work, the room was so suffocated and the i could’nt breathe and heat wont stop coming from vents. their key for one room was not working which is fine but the bad experiences kept going on! i asked for refund and told himabout the issues and all he said was’ YA SORRY ABOUT THAT’ Do you really think this motel should be even listed for bookings? they r looting people out and scamming them! I asked them if i could get a refund as the services was not what they promised, the guy like ‘YA SORRY ABOUT THAT BUT WE CAN NOT REFUND YOU ITS NOT ALLOWED’ I would suggest ‘NO ONE’ to stay here! Can someone give me my well deserved refund? If not a refund but a heartfelt apology?

The guy in front dest is nice, the location is good, but the smell of the room is very unpleasant i got headache in our entire stay, had to check out very early. The chair had stain i couldnt sit and the beddings looks like used.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff, good value for money. The room is small and has no coffee pot... but the bed is comfy and location is good. Thanks for a nice stay!

Disgusting !! Absolutely Disgusting!They must have paid someone to write all these good reviews on Google.They were so untrue!This is the worst experience we have with lodging on our 2 months road trip. We arrived to Thunder Bay almost midnight and this was the only motel had vacancy. Our room stinks! It smells very bad! The carpet is from the 60's. It was so dirty like it hasn't been vacuum for months. The thru the wall A/C wasn't working properly because the filter was so clogged with dust and hasn't been clean for years! Bathroom door has been kicked in and broken. Bathroom window was covered with a garbage bag. Walls were patched in many places but not painted. Big hole on the tub surround.No soap or shampoo. Toilet was dirty. Towels were old and worn. Bed sheets has stain spots. No night tables or lamps. TV didn't work!They advertised free Wi-Fi but there was no WiFi. We found dirty sock under the armchair. The armchair was in very poor condition that nobody would takes it even if you put it out on the sidewalk. Curtains is old , dirty and can see thru. Went to front desk to ask to switch room but the man said only other room available was a smoking room.Really? Is it legal to have smoking rooms in hotels? In Ontario??He also said you only have to stay pass the night right?"It was too late for us to look for another hotel/motel in another town so we slept with our street clothes on and didnt use the shower/tub.When checking out

Not the cleanest room, dog hair on bed, hole in bedding, stains on towel, bed, floor, chair. Couldn’t find how to control AC so we were freezing. Dirty microwave. Water is extremely hard in shower. Carpet taped up, outlet glued to the wall. No coffee in the morning, and no coffee maker in room. Thin walls. Not the worst place I stayed but will most likely not stay here again. Okay for maybe one night.

frankly overpriced, house keeping was terrible, floors were sticky, under the bed was grime and frankly gross. getting anything was like pulling teeth and the renovations they like to mention were cheap and poorly done. all the air vents were jammed shut and even when worked barely opened so the room was always hot. had to clean the bathroom myself. and frankly they offered confusing misleading promises on what they would provide or do for you. add in the fact i got woken in the night for someone looking for a drug dealer was just the icing on the cake really. avoid unless your utterly desperate.

Avoid if possible. This place is not maintained well. I had to stay a night because of last minute cancellation of my airbnb. Very expensive for what it offers.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is one step away from being closed by the city for health code violations. First thing when you walk in is the stench of stale smoke, then you notice the huge black stains in the carpet, then you notice the entire bathroom is covered in dirty, red duct tape, including the base of the toilet… both rolls of toilet paper had been soiled with a brown liquid. There was a c*m shot on one of the head boards which had dropped down to make a stain on the box spring. Everything was disgustingly dirty. Hand prints on the walls. VILE. DO NOT COME HERE! They were almost going to give me only a 50% refund because I had been there for half an hour. So dishonourable. Disgraceful.
