Canadian Tire
One of the best Canadian Tire stores in Durham region. I can't believe I'm saying this about their auto shop, but have had good experiences from their auto shop. Have bought tires from them for groups and the largest spend so far was over 13k in tires.

I was looking for a kettle. Some of the kettles were displayed and some were in boxes. Looking at those in boxes, I noticed one that I liked on a picture. Unfortunately, that kettle was not on display. As soon as I found the box which was previously open and started opening the box to look at that kettle, I was approached by associate asking me not to open the box explaining that it is a store policy. Associate was polite but yet, when I asked how I am supposed to purchase this item without looking at it, he couldn’t provide reasonable explanation. Please, help me to understand how your customers supposed to shop at your store if they can’t even look at merchandise? Is it online shopping approach? Then why do we need stores?

Great Canadian tire for most things. Don't usually go to this location unless in the area as there are more preferred locations with a larger variety and newer store. Lost a star as I was harassed by the mastercard sales people" as I walked in. This is super annoying and off putting when you walk in. No one wants this when they come in here

I bought a CANVAS Sydney Double Outdoor Patio Egg Swing Chair in this family-owned Canadiantire, and the product is defective. Since the package is huge, it doesn’t fit in normal cars( not even in minivan), I cannot bring it by myself to exchange it. When I bought it, I rent a truck, and now after I assembled it, it is defective, the egg chair is not even. After putting me on hold for 48min, they ask me to figure out a way by myself to bring it back for exchange, feels like it is my fault to get a defective product in their store. And I asked if I can contact the Canadian Tire company for help, they said: it is family owned, not a company. It is an “amazing”shopping experience, “wonderful” customer care!

I needed two new front tires, and it only took them about an hour. While I was waiting they were dealing with an irate customer, a minor miscommunication it sounded like, the auto centre employees handled themselves professionally and curtly, even while being sworn at.Super friendly to deal with, professional and courteous. I will return for all my car needs.

Richard Rojas from the automotive department was so helpful. He managed to help my husband and I with an issue I had with my car. He went above and beyond by giving us options prior to fixing our car. Excellent customer service.

Had a tire blow out near this location . Jimmy and his team helped us out and went above and beyond to make sure we got back on the road safe and sound. Highly recommend this location for your needs you won't be disappointed.
