Panorama Village Return It Depot

They close at 4:45 pm. They just don't like to admit it.

The owner is so rude and disrespectful he should not be working her let alone own this business. We brought a lot of bags and 10 minute before closing he said that we had to leave when when we did not finish. I suggest that he should close the door and let those customers who were there previously finish what they came for. I will not come to this depot ever again. I warn everyone! The service here is atrocious! He was rude to everyone!

The staff here love to yell at customers and seem to target people of colour!! Yelled at my husband for trying to bring mixed plastics back to return. It’s always something with these people! We try to do the best for this planet and to keep things out of the landfill! A person shouldn’t encounter hate when they are just doing their part as a decent human being!!

It was my first time yesterday there. I was pretty happy with all the helps he tried to help us because we got there 15 mins before they closed. The young guy was really helpful and polite. He tried to help us to do everything he can because we had like 6 huge bags with us. They have big sorting area and lots of trays. He always keep the place clean and organized. Even he was closing the store about to leave but the customer shown up, he even took the bag from him, very nice of him! My baby liked this place so much because she had fun here.

Place is decent. Would be better if they could figure out how to get the express drop to work consistently

Employee argued that some the bottles were American. I pointed out that they were in ml not oz and also that the label says made by PepsiCo Canada. I didn't want to argue about it and went to grab my bag to take the bottles elsewhere, and he scanned one and it showed it was in the system and could get a deposit back. If it could have been scanned in the first place, why wouldn't that have been done instead of becoming confrontational with customers?

Pulled around back where the bay doors are large and the recycling bins are easily accessible. I had a stack of flattened cardboard boxes and some styrofoam (from TV packaging) to drop off. A younger female employee greeted me, she was nice, and stated that the cardboard and styrofoam should be dropped off in the front, main entrance part of the depot (storefront). I mentioned that it was a zoo" out front as there was no parking and cars were lined up in the parking lot (this recycling depot is in a strip plaza where there are many other businesses). She then said it was okay to drop the cardboard off and she showed me the correct bin to put it in. I finished in under 5 minutes. The entire time I was placing the cardboard in the bin

Still understaffed at peak times after many years. Those who happen to be on shift seem overworked and rude especially the manager. The Express machine is often broken and I have been short counted several times and other customers have had similar experiences (see comments). Encorp needs to secret shop this location and consider a larger site with more parking and less traffic.

This is a clean environment and the staff are quite welcoming. They put effort into making certain that the location isn't overcrowded and that people are attended to in an efficient manner. This is my regular spot!
