This shop was recommended to me and did not disappoint! I brought my laptop (which could not be turned on) in on a Saturday afternoon and they fixed it while I waited in 10 minutes, turned out it was a short circuit. Offered great advice around warranty/recalls that I could take advantage of. Recommend!

My MacBook wouldn't turn on after I spilled a LOT of water on the keyboard. They fixed it up quickly for a good price.

I've been living on the north shore for years and I'm so disappointed that I never learned about Mac Place LTD sooner.All these years of paying Apple repair prices for maintaining devices are over for me. If you have any Apple device that needs repair, I highly recommend you call Mac Place first. My mid 2011 iMac wouldn't boot up and I thought for sure I was going to throw it out as I figured it would cost more to fix than just getting a new iMAC, but I thought, can't hurt to call someone on the north shore with a good reputation and see if they can fix it.I called Mac Place as they were just half a block away from where I lived and was able to drop it off within 10 mins of calling them. As soon as I dropped it off, the repair person had the screen off and diagnose the issue as a failed power supply within 5 minutes and gave me a quote of 150 to fix it, 85 for the parts and 65 for the labour. I was so surprised that it was a no brainer to go ahead and do it as I was planning on using my iMac as a secondary monitor and this was way cheaper than buying a new Apple monitor. In addition, he found that the left fan was failing and replaced it for just the cost of the part which was $25 and didn't charge me labour for it.I was able to get my iMAC fixed within a couple of hours. I can't think of any other business that operates this efficiently and professionally. I was blown away at the level and quality of service. Watching the technician take apart my iMAC at the speed and care that he did tells me he's been doing this for years and extremely confident at what he does.Don't let the size of these smaller businesses fool you, these are the diamonds in the rough that are hard to find and when you find them, you want to keep them. I highly recommend Mac Place for all of your Apple service repairs. They are indeed awesome!

Great, honest service! My computer suddenly wouldn’t turn on this morning and when I took it in to Mac Place they were able to inspect it immediately and helped me fix it free of charge. This was after I’d gone to a different store where they told me my 2014 MacBook was “vintage” and replacement parts were not available (and almost convinced me I needed to purchase a new computer). I’d highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time I’m having computer troubles. The best!

Friendly staff, beyond reasonable pricing, and very quick turnaround time!For reference, Simply Computing quoted me $1000+ for liquid damage and Mac Place did it for $350. My future go-to spot for repairs and refurbished equipment.

My friend Giorgio recommended this place to me several years ago. I’ve been having some trouble with my 2020 iMac lately; running Adobe Premiere.I had intended on bringing my computer in to Mac Place this Saturday to get it checked out. I thought it would be a good idea to call beforehand to lay out the details of what’s been going on.Ben picked up the phone and educated me on my situation. He said it was incredibly likely that the ram is the problem. He was very familiar and knowledgeable about the issues I was having and helped me through everything right there on the phone.Didn’t ask for a dime, nor did he request a review. He was just a decent guy; humane, and helpful. It was such a pleasant surprise, and a real pleasure to talk to him. Such decency. Wow. What a special place.

Not enough word to describe how skilled and humble these guys are. Over the years I have bought 3 lap tops for my kids and an iMac all still working great. Took one in for repair that I had bought some where else ,cheap repair cost and that is still working great too.I always recommend Mac place to people and they are never disappointed.Please support businesses like this. They are the heart of our communities.

I recently had an issue with my mid 2012 Mac Book Pro.I called around to a few shops and they recommended contacting Mac Place. I called and spoke with Aziz and asked about repair costs, diagnostic fees etc. The shop does not charge diagnostic fees and I felt that I was in good hands based on our phone conversation so I took my Mac to their shop. They were able to diagnose the problem and repair my Mac in 2 business days and only did so after explaining the nature of the issue and the value of the repair relative to the current value of my Mac. In addition to that repair, they kindly tweaked a few things for me such as replacing a few screws, repairing the wifi antenna, and of course the main job, replacing the logic board.I appreciated their professionalism/ speedy work and the repair comes with a 90 day warranty as well. So I recommend without hesitation this shop for repairs and also for sales of used Macs, for which they have a great selection at reasonable prices.Thanks guys!

Called the Hackery to repair my keyboard on my 2016 Macbook Pro - they nicely recommended we call Mac Place due to parts shortages on back. I contacted the Mac Place and they were very honest in telling us that there is a recall on the keyboard and that we should go to the Apple Store directly for a free repair. Thank you so much for your honesty, knowledge and recommendation. Will definitely come back if we need another repair!
