I am the principal of Deroche Elementary in School District 75 (Mission BC). Our school, over the past two years, has developed our site to become a “Stream and Wilderness” school. This process involved clearing invasive species, replanting native species, preparing ourdoor classrooms, building a bridge over a stream and constructing paths throughout our forested school grounds.
