The new playground is amazing! My kids love it, we try to go everyday after school. It really is 5-12 when it says though lol my 4 year old is still having difficulties getting through some parts but they really love it anyways.

Action Fest weekend (June 2nd to 4th) Around 2 dozen or more Ball teams in town along with distance runners and arm wrestling competitions. At Memorial Park there are food trucks and a huge beer garden with a music festival on the stage. Saturday night the beer garden encompasses the stage and the dancing starts under the stars.

Great park near center of town. Not nearly enough music in the park. New playground added and the older one removed. More music in the park is a welcome addition. New Self Serve First Aid Post added. First Aid Kit and Defibrillator Kit available in the north east corner.

A popular park for festivals, community concerts and memorial ceremonies.There is a stone monument dedicated to the boys of Summerland that fought in the Korean War and WW1 and WW2. A heritage stone plaque also recognizes the positive efforts and influence of C.C Wharton.

What a beautiful park in the middle of a tranquil peaceful place friendly people lots of events happening there at the park every Wednesday there's either a concert or a band there's always something going on at this park what a great place to chill and relax I highly recommend this place for a place of peace and relaxation with the family

Beautiful new park, lots of old trees and shade. Also has a nice water filling station near the bathrooms and Bandshell.

Very pretty place to chill out. I took a break there when I went biking. Youth on the stage like it's a hang out area and people at the tables. Very peaceful and there is a park for kids not that I have any lol.
