United Taxi

Driver 0907 very arrogant and unprofessional; while transferring my client to Hospital. The height of the wheelchair needed adjustment to prevent client head from bumping on the roof of vehicle. As an observation I stated;” Watch his head.” Driver 0907 responded in the most aggressive boisterous voice; “Lady get out of here! Go do your job!!!” Patient safety is my job sir. You may have been doing your job for 12 years but you are a novice - zero interpersonal skills. 12 years? Your tone, your mannerisms, your attitude, your verbal expressions? Maybe you are untrainable.

As a regular customer I am appauled at the treatment from this company. I was injured during a trip & Mike who called me this a.m. will not provide me with the car # or the drivers ID. The onsite supervisor was beyond rude.My digital receipt disappeared but we have now found it.Please avoid this dishonest company @ all cost & document everything to protect yourself.I have since uninstalled their app & will never call them again.

I had a cab driver who I paid for a $79.00 trip which is fine for me. But he said I have to pay him $3.50 extra for no reason that I knew of. He refused to let me go after 10+ times I don’t have any spare change on me.They are a bunch of scammers

I just had my first experience with United in Kitchener. I had been taking City Cabs, but the wait times were getting way too long and the cabs were filthyToday I decided to call United instead . They answered the phone on one ring and I had a cab in 5 minutes. The driver was polite, the cab was spotless and it was the best cab ride I've had in decades.Way to go United.

Used the App on Tuesday night waited 25 minutes for a driver uptown Waterloo, no response so it canceled my order. Called dispatch and they apologized said there are drivers in the area they'll send one over. Another 20 minutes went by still no driver so I called back.. got someone at a call center? Who said they need to contact dispatch to see what's going on.. Apologies again we'll send a driver right away... 13 minutes no driver so I flagged down Lokal. An hour on a Tuesday and still weren't able to fulfill the order.. brutal. I usually use them 5 nights a week so pretty sad.

We had been loyal to United taxi my whole life. Even when uber became popular, I went out of my way to use united as I like to support local. Granted I drive now so i don't use cabs that often anymore, but out of the last 10 times I've called one, 5 have driven off without me and 2 tried to but I managed to either chase or flag them down. I have my shoes on when I call. I walk out the door as as soon as I get the call. They just aren't reliable anymore.

Absolutely terrible service. I waited for a cab for over an hour with 300 dollars worth of groceries wasting away in the heat. Many people that came out of the grocery store after me got picked up by the same cab company while I waited. When I called back to see what was going on, they said that I was not booked in but that they would send someone right away. A cab still didn't show up and more people got picked up by the same company that came out after me. I called my husband and he ended up calling the cab company to see what was going on and they told him no one with my name and number was booked in, but once again they would send someone right away. Finally a cab came after over an hour. Get organized!

Arranged for 9:30am pickup well ahead of time on a quiet morning using their phone app, then at 9:45am the app said it was still assigning a driver, so I called to ask when they would arrive. I got a very rude reply that there were no drivers available at that time and I would just have to wait for 20 minutes or more. I reminded him that I had prearranged on the app, he then abruptly hung up the phone and altogether cancelled my order. I was late for an important meeting because of their incompetence. Since that experience I now prearrange on the Uber app and my rides have consistently shown up on time. Never again United Taxi!

There driving is terrible .They certainly do not know how to merge onto the expressway and this is not limited to one cab. They have terrible manners and certainly are not mentors for any drivers and certainly set bad examples on how to drive responsible. You phone to let a manager know and they don't even answer their phone. Just like there service. TerribleBeware before using this service. .

If you support this company you do not care or have respect for wheelchair users. I’m never using this company again. I’ve missed so many appointments because of them and just when the taxi arrived now I went pee and they just left without even calling. My dad went out to see him too. On top of that they barely have any wheelchair taxis when only we’re the only people that can’t get into the car. All they have to do is have more accessible taxi which they can use for any person. It is not fair and they are NOT reliable at all. Then you never get a warning if they will be late. I definitely do NOT recommend this company to anyone I will never use it again .
