Motorcycle accident with head injuries - my daughter dialled up Nurse Next Door and arranged for morning help to get out of bed, shower, get safely downstairs and get the day going... This very competent caregiver just appeared at my house and got everything organized for me, at a time when I couldn't even sit up without the room spinning. Highly recommended, especially for ability to get right in there, sort out what is needed, and (gently) get it done.

The PSW's sent to my sisters house performed very poorly and seemed to have no idea what their job is. We had to pay a 3 hour minimum and they would literally just sit around waiting to be given instructions. They were not proactive and could not function without being constantly and directly supervised. How is an elderly couple supposed to manage in their home if the PSW's can't even come up with simple idea's like brushing teeth, making the bed, making lunch, etc. and wait to be told? This speaks directly to a lack of training and professionalism. I would not recommend Nurse Next Door Kitchener to anyone.
