Apparently spraying chemicals around is how these guys clean sewage spills. No need to remove the sewage, just throw some spray on it.Three times I have asked this company to clean up, and three times they failed to accomplish this.Would not recommend for any situation. Blatant incompetence.

Best company I've ever worked with

This company was given to us by our insurance company to fix flooring due to flooding in the basement. Issues included: misquoting of timeframe (resulting in an additional 5 weeks of work), not ordering enough product leaving my basement unfinished to this day, unprofessional workers (workers made a disgusting mess of our downstairs bathroom), and damage to my home (broken cabinets), safety issues (exposed wires coming out of the wall that were not there before. They claimed move in ready, and left a mess of dust, all vent covers and outlet covers left on the floor, baseboards weren't installed back in and broken cabinet. Shameful work and nightmare employees to deal with. Do not do business with this company.

I cannot thank Patty and Kyle enough for their remediation of our basement after a recent flood, caused by City tree roots blocking the sewer system. They were both professional, courteous, knowledgeable, kind and personable. Also kudos to Lisa, who set everything up and got the ball rolling and estimator Jason who made us feel at ease. I highly recommend Service Master, Ottawa and their wonderful Staff, for alleviating some of the stress that we experienced at the beginning of our situation!

My experience with Service Master was through my insurance company after I had flooding in my basement. They were always very professional, kind and empathetic to my needs. I highly recommend them for your demolition and repairs.

Great to deal with

The company gave me a quote over the phone of $1500 to deal with a leak in my basement. Upon returning the equipment they proceeded to charge me an extra $1450 on top of the intial $1500. The estimator/foreman was extremely rude and condescending, even when I explained that their staff had quoted me at $1500 and now they were doubling their invoice. The actual staff that responded and did the hands on work were very nice and helpful but the manager" was beyond rude and not willing to discuss the issue at hand of them not honouring their over the phone quote. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they will charge you double once the job is complete."
