Slotin Electric - Electrician in Winnipeg

Under NO circumstances should you use this company. ZERO STARSWe had requested a 200 amp services from them only to have installers put in a 100 amp service with a very small fuse panel, we wouldn’t have even known what they were doing had we not over heard the two guys talking. Winnipeg Hydro workers even had a work order that they showed me to run 200 amp service to the home. According to the owner of the company they don’t request a specific level of service from Winnipeg Hydro, two other electrical companies have told me that you do have to tell them the level of service you want.In addition to problem with the level of service they also left a mess in my basement, the old meter has been left uncovered, and there is a large wire hanging out from where they ran the ground wire.Attempts to resolve this via the BBB only resulted in insulting accusations from Slotin’s Electricals’ owner.

I have relied on Slotin Electric for a number of years to handle projects both large and small. I have always found them to be completely professional, honest, and reliable. I always recommend Slotin as the first and best choice for residential or commercial projects.

I have been using Slotin Electric for many years and keep on having them return. In July they installed new outdoor lighting for me and hooked it up to my Alexa. They are amazing. Had them back again twice this month - once to install a new outdoor plug and once to install a new light switch. Outstanding service every time. The work was meticulous and I thought their quote was reasonable.

A huge thank you to Slotin Electric ! We were without power over the weekend and needed an electrician to come out on Father's Day. Most companies were not even answering their phones on Sunday, but Slotin Electric did and solved our issue for us. Forever grateful to Geoff and Dave....and they are now my electricians of choice !

WOW! The owner is a complete A-Hole and thinks he is king sxxt! Rude and acts like he is entitled. Under no circumstances would I recommend this shop. I have no doubt the owner would over charge to fill his over blown ego. Avoid at all costs! I would give zero stars if I could!

would never recommend this company in any way!!!i still have the lights they sent out for warranty work and called every month asking when they where coming back.I have since hired someone and installed my own.No thanks to slotin electric.
