I dropped my huge dog off writhing in pain and confusion and picked him up all fixed up! All staff worked together to save my best friend. Several times! So patient and calm in the mist of a crisis. They are truly Saints! My animals LOVE them all as well! Great Team!

We had been taking our cats to this Clinic since about 2017, Had a very good experience with Dr. Spring (she left to open her open practice) and then had Dr. Mikkyla Reid who is a great veterinary doctor as well. The only reason we stopped bring our Cat here was because in his old age he didn't like the long travel to make it to this clinic. The price's here were fair and better than some other practices such as Baywood South which were experiencing as much higher costs than most places in the neighbourhood. The team always took great care of our cat and showed lots of love. Also the transparency at this clinic was top notch. Everything was always documented for us and readily available. We even switched to their app which gave us even more transparency to all of our tests that were performed on our cat. If this practice was closer we would have stayed here. Again the openness and willingness to show so much transparency was amazing to have. Didn't realize how great that was until we lost it.

This clinic is great and the staff are friendly and listen to what you are telling them. The only thing I have a problem with is when I ask them to cut his nails, they do it alright, but not short enough, ever! This means I have to take him back and get charged another 50 bucks for hardly cutting any nail off at all.

Hi Shawn,I completely agree with you, that they are a complete rip off!I was shopping around to have both my cats looked at to have their shots… I couldn’t believe their prices compared to a whole bunch of other vets in the area!I’d NEVER take any of my animals to this veterinary hospital!It’s absolutely highway robbery!I’m glad I’m not the only who thinks so!To anyone out there… unless you have hundreds of dollars to throw away, I’d look elsewhere!

Best vet office. Everyone helped me with my new adoptees. The pups are very reactive at this time and Dr. Schmidt and her team calmed me and the dogs. I highly recommend this vet service.

They charge double the price for anything compared to most vets , there examination fee is 190$ compared to $80-120…they wanted to charge $400 to to treat my cat for worms witch is completely crazy lol insane ripp off .. they couldn’t find a scratching issue with my cat for over 4 years, they wanted to keep her on steroids for ever, and keep her on a strict expensive diet witch never worked , I finally got her off the meds and back to normal food and looking better than ever with no harmful medication witch they insisted , shop around befor going to these people unless you don’t mind wasting a lot money.

The staff here specifically Dr. Mikkyla Reid and Melissa Melick were both very positive, intelligent, and compassionate individuals that made our time with this clinic even better. The prices for their services were comparable to most places, although some places have higher prices and some lower. We found them very fair and also very upfront with everything. We never felt pressured by their staff and were always given time to make our decisions. All records were given after every visit detailing what was done. This was a great practice for informing and communicating with the clients.

What a wonderful experience on our first visit to Simcoe Vet Hospital. I needed to find a vet that treated cats like royalty that they are. This is the place. Dr. Hawkes and Alyson were 1st rate the whole visit, from the way they treated our fur kid like their own, the thoughtful careful explanations around everything and an over all sense of well being for humans and furry family members. We are all so happy to be in their capable hands.

I love bringing my cat here. Not only does he love everyone, but I do too. They are so gentle and so caring. It really is the best.

Lovely staff! I have 3 dogs that I bring here and it’s always been a good experience. I’m a supreme ball of anxiety when anything happens with my dogs and they’re so patient with me and my high energy pups.
