North Rustico Food Market

Picked up kiwi, oranges, and bananas. Most fruit were in pretty rough shape...either overripe or not ripe at all.Some days they have hot food, like chicken pot pie, in the back.They don't accept amex (American express) but other card networks for fine.

Found some chorizo, local cheese, honey and bread here to make a super scrumptious sandwich!

Waiting patiently for my blueberry pie...

The North Rustico Prince Edward island Food Market is a great and fantastic place to buy different kinds of food and the staff is friendly and helpful too

Looks like a small store from the outside, but what a good selection. The store is a little tight, but as long as it's not too crowded, not a problem.

Such a great little local grocery store with nice staff and a decent selection.

As vacationers on PEI, this was our stop for all of our needs during our stay. Adequately furnished with all the grocery and snack essentials you need. Great homemade bisquits!

So, a quick scan of the positive reviews reveals that most of them were written by tourists dripping in raptures over PEI in general.I think we can safely eliminate them from the mix, as the perception is definitely skewed.As a local: The first grocery store I've had to rely upon that had a selection so uninspiring that it actually puts you off eating.The only advantage it has is that you're spared a journey into Charlottetown to do your shopping; always a nuisance.I don't expect applause from the staff every time I go shopping, as being a cashier is hard work, so am happy not burdening them with ridiculous behavioural expectations. They were always fine.So, with Clover in general, prepared to be underwhelmed.
