The BEST! We LOVE 99 King . Our favorite, GO to place for lunch, dinner. My husband has celiac, and we are always thrilled with the food here. The menu has SO many options for allergies, homemade perogies, butter chicken, you name it. Best spot for a delicious home style meal, or delicious allergy free appetizer :) bowmanville is lucky to have 99 king.

Great service. Rachel remembered my name and favourite beverage a week after my first visit! All the servers and staff are welcoming here. I had wings one time...excellent! The breaded are a bit thin on the breading for what one may be accustomed to but the wing sizes and flavor made up for it. I wasn't disappointed. My 2nd visit was Thursday's Pasta Night. Live music added to the enjoyment. The pasta was Cajun chicken with caesar salad and garlic bread. The food was fast and was excellent. This place is friendly, cozy, and action-packed with good folks on both sides of the bar.

Wanted to come here for a dinner before our movie date, but had to leave before our food came because it was taking so long. Sat there for 40 minutes without even the appetizer, but when we said we were leaving they brought it out right away. If you’re coming here on a Friday night go to the patio as they clearly prioritize out there more.

My first time here. Sat us across from the bar so very loud. Unaware it was trivia night upstairs so service was slow downstairs. Lots of options on the menu. Family that came after us received apps before us. When angry bread arrived it was hot, fresh and delicious. Entrees took some time as well. Butter chicken and spicy chicken sandwich were very good with a generous side of crispy fries with the sandwich. Unfortunately my fish tacos didn't fare as well. They were not hot. They may have been waiting to be served too long because the fish was barely warm and one tortilla was burnt. IF they had been served immediately, without the burnt shell, they would have been delicious.

Great service by Ainsley! Tasty late night food and a great selection of drinks. Definitely the best option for late night hangs in Bowmanville.

The server refused to let a homeless person stay and eat the soup he paid for, telling him they're closed at 10:30 when he called them out on their hours they said they lock up early so everyone can leave at 11... however, they were offering me the opportunity to stay and order more food if I wanted. Also heard other patrons talking rudely about this man with the server, sounded like they all worked there. He was dressed well in a nice jacket, and was very polite.I ordered gluten friendly knowing they have a dedicated fryer (celiac) and have been here before with no issue. It's either the audacity of treating a human the way I saw this man be treated tonight that's left my stomach in knots, or a cross contamination issue. I won't be coming back.EditAs a small business maybe watch who is listening when you talk behind a customer's back.if its true that he is a regular and always gets soup to go, why would you need to insult and treat him so poorly when you could have just given him his USUAL order knowing full well you still had soup.I came in after 10pm as well and was not given a late night menu, but I had new shoes on so, I guess in your servers eyes that made me a cut above.First thing the server said to this older man was I am closed" at about 10:20 -10:25pm

Greatest Lil Pub I've been to in years! Staff is super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in the front door. Within minutes of sitting down, I had my beverage in front of me and was introduced to everyone sitting at the bar. Bartenders are excellent, food is exceptional, atmosphere is one that keeps you coming back. Thank you 99 King for a fantastic experience!

Ainsley took care of our large group and she was amazing, so welcoming. And Ainsley was the only server, crushed it. She recommended the stir fry which was so tasty. We were surprised it was karaoke night. The restaurant was full of so many talented singers, such a great night. Cant wait to come back and try something else. Thanks ♥️

Don’t let the inside fool you. It’s an old building, the setup is a little strange but the staff are friendly, food is great and well priced. Monday’s is half off apps which were already a good price as is. A 1/2 of Nachos is enough for 2 people and is $5. Wings are $8/lb on Wednesdays as well. Parking on the street is free after 6pm and there’s also a sizeable patio attached to the building.

We came here twice this past weekend to watch the world cup games. It was a great atmosphere. A fun crowd. Fantastic fish and chips
