I have visited this shop several times to ask for parts and advice for my road and mountain bikes. The staff have been very knowledgable and helpful. Very welcoming and eager to help solve my problems. They stock a wide range of bikes, and higher end wheels, and parts/accessories. Really love the shop and as a bonus they have an account system that gives you cash back on your purchases as a credit on future sales. Thanks for being awesome!

Bought a smart trainer here. Everything from ordering online to picking it up in person was great. I got there 10 minutes before closing but folks there were kind enough to install a cassette on it and helped loaded it into the car. So far a fantastic experience with the trainer too.

Never been to a bike store where I have been so disappointed with the advice, quality of work and attitude provided by mechanics....DO NOT SHOP here....ever.

Graciously allowed me to use their air pump for my very flat, presta-valved tires today - no sales pressure, no questions asked, and they were busy with customers. Small but memorable gesture - saved my day! For that, happy to give a 5-star review.

To date, the crew at Chain Reaction have continued to provide excellent service. As a Cycling enthusiast, I'm keen on figuring out the telling signs of a good bike shop. First, the shop might seem small as the store front is what is exposed. However, beyond the curtains in the back is a full service area consisting of consumables (vast selection of wear and tear items (chains, tires...) When the shop's service area is bigger than the exposed store front - it tells me that the vast majority of customers are repeat who come in for service. There are usually 2-3 technicians/mechanics year round which is rare as winter season is typically slow. Second, the product selection is geared to all buyers, however, Chain Reaction also carries brands that you can only find at bike at better bike shops. Third, the staff knowledge base (mechanics/technicians, sales) is exemplary - these are not the average employees looking for an hourly wage. These guys/girls are professional working people who have degrees and professions of sorts but their close relationship with the shop owner and their passion for Cycling will see them rotating throughout the year! I've gotten to know most of them and these are good people with the best intensions!

I'm writing to share my disappointing service experience. Specifically, 1) the lack of quality control regarding a standard bottom bracket servicing and cleaning for a Specialized Tarmac Sport that was undertaken by you in April 2022 and 2) the lack of timely telephone follow up acknowledging my concern upon my bringing this to the attention of your staff June 17 when I called to tell you what had happened. In April 2022, I left my bike in your care for a bottom bracket cleaning and re-greasing. Very straightforward end of season service. Two days ago, while sprinting along at high speed on a flat section of road, my left crank to separated completely, leaving it dangling from my cleat. Fortunately I was able to maintain control of my bike without crashing, however it might have been quite different had I been going down a hill. I brought my bike in the following day to determine why this had happened and to get the issue rectified. I was told that the earliest it could be looked at was July. I understand service backlogs, but the lack of urgency in wanting to find out why this had happened was striking to me. Extremely dangerous to me, but apparently not concerning enough for you to give something as egregious as this immediate attention. Not wanting to wait until July, I elected to take my bike to EnduroSport in the east end where I had purchased it. The attitude when I had told them what happened could not have been more different, as they emphasized that they wanted to do whatever they could to get me back on the road as soon as possible. That can-do, I want to help you attitude was a big difference compared to Chain Reaction's we'll get to it when we can." I was not impressed. Instead
