Went here today looking for some rent assistance, the front desk lady was very moody with us. Shes one of those people who thinks they’re better than you because you’re there. The housing advisor was bad at his job, he kept saying “ do this, if this WAS the situation “ which it wasn’t the situation, he didn’t actually say anything helpful. Also there was needles in the bathroom. So my child couldn’t use the bathroom because I don’t need my 2 year old asking what they are & being subjected to that at such a young age. Disgusting. I’ll never go back, not even at my lowest points of life.

I was told by my social worker at the ODSP office to come down to Lutherwood for help in finding a place to live. I went there and waited almost 2 hours just to have the staff tell me that they can't do anything for me. If I would have known this before hand, I'd never bother wasting my time and effort coming here just to be told that.

They never help the people in need. I'm on OW and make minimum wage and needed help with last rent. Every time I ask for help it's either I don't make enough money or have some" money. There is no point of having an organization to help low income people pay rent if you just say no to the people that need help the most."

Was placed on hold in the middle of speaking to the receptionist. That's disgustingly rude and I'm furious.Apart from the receptionist, staff is courteous, helpful, & friendly.

Terrible place .No help at all.Just moved from out west in need of help with last month deposit.Basically they send me away with no help.I am 58 years old with a sick wife and this is what's I get.Nobody there cares if you live or die.I think that Lutherwood exist so that they can keep their own job.Sick.Very disappointed!

This place is a joke ,, the staff is rude , they say they want to help but will not help unless u have family to help ,, social services should not be sending people to this place ,,,,, horrible horrible

Very lousy attitude from a lady who works in the far office. Went there to find a place to sleep an shower. All I got was a bunch of b...s....from this lady. Why would Luther wood hire a cold hearted individual like this.Do not expect any help from this individualWill make sure her name is put on social medit. The pen is mightier then the sword

Difficult to get the rent arrears loan. Lost my job...got a new one, landlord took 3 months to give my n4, by then Lutherwood wanted me to pay 1000+next month's rent. I haven't even been paid yet!? They encourage midnight moves by saying let the eviction go through, and we'll help with last months rent!? Hows about help getting caught up and i make my monthly payments. It's a loan, loan it to me!
