Double V Nails & Spa

I happened to stumble across Double V due to my mother in law. My first experience wasn't the best, that being said I did try again and I was blown away. There is a friendly energy when you walk in the door. Kevin has done my nails every time since then and never fails to do an amazing job and make my experience the most enjoyable. Veta the owner is also so lovely. Would recommend this salon!

DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently got my eyebrows waxed from here, and the girl was extremely rude, I told her my preference for the shape and she replied, YEAH WHATEVER"

I did a pedicure and manicure. Did shellac and it chipped off within 2 days. I called the next day to make a report. Went in and was told that they can only repaint the 3 affected finger nails. I asked for a color change as I was sure others will come of in no time and they declined. This is the worst nail salon I have been to! I will never recommend this nail studio

I am new to having acrylic nails. I got my set done previously at another salon but was not pleased with the result. I called this salon and was able to get an immediate appointment. Kim did an amazing job fixing the mess and I am definitely going to be back at the salon.

Myself and my girlfriend have tried almost every nail salon in the city as we can be perfectionists and have a difficult time paying for subpar nails. I can truly say after frequenting this place for many years that they are the best I have come across. It is very rare that I am unhappy with my services, and if I am, they rectify quickly.My usual is a acrylic set or fill with a shellac color on my nails and a shellac pedicure on my toes. The quality is great- I never break a nail, I travelled Europe for 3+ weeks and my nails held up and looked great. The staff are very sweet and kind. They are always on time, clean, and lately have had a great promotion for their birthday month around 10% off.I would not hesitate in recommending this salon. I’ve included photos of my recent fill and I am seriously obsessed.

Worst pedicure I’ve had in my life. They finished my entire pedicure including gel polish in half an hour… no good pedicure should take less than an hour. All my toenails are cut uneven. The massage I was given lasted a total of 1 minute and was literally her just rubbing lotion all over my wet legs no pressure at all. My mom also got a pedicure and her girl didn’t even apply scrub on her legs only her feet. My cousin also got a pedicure and hers was finished in less time than mine… clearly no care or effort behind the service provided. I also booked an appointment so being an in a rush should not be an excuse. Very unimpressed and will not be returning here.

I received a really bad service the last time i went here, The MALE who did my nails was very AGGRESSIVE and DEMANDING and really hard to communicate about what I want, he got the shaped wrong and some are crooked, paint job is messy and got some gel on my actual skin.The first time i went here a while back was amazing, I had a girl named helen did my nails and she was AMAZING!! If you’re planning to get your nails done here definitely call first ask for her because she gives best quality nails and good service!! Overall the nail salon needs a little bit more work on their service and nail quality.

I went in for a gel removal and would never go back again. I had the worst experience of my life. The lady decided to not use any acetone to loosen the gel off my nail before prying. Instead she was prying the gel directly off my nails. My one nail is physically damaged, as the tool she was using cut through my nail into the skin underneath causing it to bleed underneath the nail. She then proceeded to use nail glue in the attempt to glue my nail back together, while it continued to bleed. I left with no apology nor discount.

Shop is clean, girls are friendly :)This is by far my favorite nail salon I have ever been to. They have a wonderful display of colors, makes it for easy picking!They take great care in their facility as well as provide amazing customer service.Highly recommend!Also, they now have a points system which is fantastic :))

I had a disappointing experience. A couple weeks ago I had a great experience with a pedicure and set of shellac.This time Kevin was incredibly rude and impatient with me when I tried to describe what I was hoping to get done. I felt awful the whole appointment with his treatment and attitude. I won’t be going back anymore. Unfortunate because this was the only place I ever went to get my nails done.
