SBI Canada Bank

I am very appalled at the bar lowering service and customer service of this branch. I had been dealing with login issues since last 1 month with not resolution in sight. I am not able to access my own account and my own money for last one month.Very painful and extremely distasteful experience. I am sorry.

I visited the branch to close my account but I made some investment instead. The reason was Harshala who was very patient with me, deescalated the situation and offered some solutions. She made sure I was able to log into my account online and completed all the required updates to my account.Everyone else including the manager were very polite and attentive to my needs.Keep it up!

I have to echo the highly rated reviews already posted here. I was reluctant to visit any SBI bank after experiencing long delays, non-existent customer service and long queuing in India.What a pleasant surprise to encounter the exact opposite at the SBI Vancouver branch today. I was trying to conduct a fairly complicated process to re-activiate a dormant account in India due to non-travel during Covid and also my deceased father and I had a joint account and I was finalizing a property sale in India. Needless to say there were many documents that needed to be verified, attested and sent to India. Mr Abishek Kumar Thakur , the Branch Head was a breath of fresh air. He calmly walked me through all the formalities and explained what he was doing along way. He eased my trepidation about getting everything done as required by the exacting Indian banking system. Throughout the two+ hours I sat in his office he helped me as well as his employees when they had questions or needed signatures, all without getting frazzled or missing a beat. He even managed to get a local account set up for me at the branch. It was my good fortune to encounter Abhishek Thakur today and it bodes well for the future of SBI if they are staffing their branches with these types of approachable, customer service focussed leaders. Occasionally dealing with SBI Vancouver branch over 20 years and their service is great, greeting with smile and very helpful staff. Special thanks to Nilam Amin to helped me always for my requirements. Abhishek Kumar Thakur Manager is great person and greeted me well. Keep up good work.

Like to appreciate Abhishek Thakur Branch Manager, and Nilam Amin, for their outstanding customer service. Both of them took personal interest in ensuring that we had all the necessary forms filled for opening our Savings, TFSA, & GIC accounts, and the same was activated in the shortest period of time. They went the extra mile to activate our internet banking as well. I am really very impressed with the excellent personal Service. They are great ambassadors of SBI.

Perhaps the best SBI I have ever been to.Abhishek and Harshala were really attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. They even went the extra mile to help me with savings repatriation from India.The street parking is very close to the entrance of the bank.

I reached to both branches last week to enquire about GICs. I also booked a service appointment online. No one called. I think they follow working culture or style same as in India !! Good Luck having banking relation with them..

The staff members were patient, and went above and beyond to assist me with my bank loan application in india. Branch Manager Mr Abhishek thakur took the time to understand my banking needs and provided me with personalized recommendations and solutions that were tailored to my requirements.Neelam mam at front desk was always up on her feet to help. She would come and check on us everytime we were waiting for our documents to be processed.I would recommend this branch more then surrey sbi as my experience was not up to the mark.
