A beautiful store, but more importantly -- the little restaurant in the back is a hidden gem. The food is so so good. I am still thinking about it. Amazing spot.

Amazing Japanese tea salon with two full pages of teas and Japanese desserts selection. Warm and relaxing home atmosphere, with tea discovery session. You can easily spend hours there.

Amazing tea selection. We ask the owner to select one for us and we were not disappoint. Snacks available we had the mochi with sweet beans and the vegetable and rice bowl

Super cozy japanese cafe run just by one super kind and humble japanese lady. You have to put down the shoes right behind the door and you get the feeling like you just entered someones living room and kitchen at the same time. You can watch everything being prepared right in front of you.You can get various tees, matcha, dessert and food like miso soup or japaneserisoto. Dessert were delightful, we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for this oasis of peace in the middle of rushy city. If we were locals we would definitely stop by again.

What a unique experience! We were visiting from out of town and basically only stopped by because we had a long walk to our vehicle and figured it'd be nice to get some tea on such a cold day.Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable on all things tea, and our group of 4 enjoyed a couple of different varieties of green tea. A memorable experience which we'll recommend to anyone else who visits the area.

This place was so lovely--one of the coziest and most tranquil places I've been to. The tea was delicious and a really great experience, learning about the brewing process. We shared an oolong pomelo flower, and a very umami green tea (a unique flavour profile I had never experienced before in a tea)! We had all 3 of the savoury food items which were delicious (my favourite may be the miso soup but it was a close call). The owner is very knowledgeable about tea and nice to chat with as well. Highly recommend!

Had a matcha (I wish I remembered the name) and the miso soup which were both small in serving though absolutely rich in flavour. Especially the matcha which is seducing in its potency.

To japano-philes and tea lovers alike, this is a hidden gem in Montreal. I had a beautiful gyokuro green tea-sweet and grassy with a deconstructed onigiri. Was delicious…I want more! And if tea is not your thing, just come to look at/buy the beautiful ceramics. A tea lover’s dream collection!

quaint, cozy and otherworldly charming. exceptional amount of detail in decor, practices and tea-- so much so that it hits like a tranquilizer; overwhelming the senses in its minutiae idiosyncrasies. i almost fell asleep! the cafe is dreamlike tranquility, vague and precise, like a lucid dream. therefore, it can be good for working, studying and channeling creativity. 5/5.
